THE PROPITIATION

DAILY GRACE 16TH FEBRUARY, 2017 THE PROPITIATION 1 JOHN. 4: 10 God of all grace shall make His grace abound towards you and your household in Jesus' name. " In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins." The miracle of divine love that such a Son should be sent into this world for us! It is wonderful to behold, so amazing, so incredible. God of all grace loved the world that He loved us first, and with unusual, unprecedented love, not that we loved God, but that He first loved us. God loves you, even when you had no love for Him, when you laid in your guilt, misery, and when you were undeserving, ill-deserving, polluted, and unclean, and wanted to be washed from our sins in sacred blood, that He gave His only begotten Son for such service and such an end that encapsulated the propitiation. For such service to he the propitiation for your sins and consequently to die for you, to die under the law and curse of God, to bear your sins in His own body, to be crucified, to be wounded in His soul, and pierced in His side, died and buried for the sake of your redemption. For such an end, for such a good and beneficial end to you that you might live through Him, might live for ever through Him, might live in heaven with God, and live in eternal glory and blessedness with Him and through Him.Oh beloved, what love is here!
