DAILY GRACE SUN. 11TH FEB. 2018. BE A TEACHER HEBREWS 5:12 "For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food." The most widespread and persistent problem to be found among many Christians today is the problem of retarded and stunted spiritual growth and progress. Why, after years of Christian profession, do so many persons find themselves no farther along than when they first believed? The causes of retarded growth are many. It would not be accurate to ascribe the trouble to one single cause. One , which is so universal that it may easily be the main cause: failure to give time to the cultivation of the knowledge of God of all grace. The Christian is strong or weak depending upon how closely he has cultivated the knowledge of the Lord. Beloved, progress in your Christian life is exactly equal to the growing knowledge you gain of the Triune God in personal encounter and experience. And both encounter and experience requires a whole life devoted to it and plenty of time spent on the task of cultivating God's knowledge. God can be known satisfactorily only as you devote time to Him through His word, solitude and prayer.  Make up your mind to devote the remaining years of your life and ministry to the task of cultivating God's knowledge to be a teacher of His word. DAVID'S CONFESSION

DAILY GRACE SAT. 10TH FEB. 2018 DAVID'S CONFESSION 2 SAMUEL 12:13 "David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.”And Nathan said to David,“The Lord also has allowed your sin to pass [without further punishment]; you shall not die." Dearly beloved, thanks be to God for the bright light of today. God of all grace wants us to learn from the life of David and from his mistake. He had this weakness of love for women and failed to be at his duty post (war front) when he was supposed to. This made him involved in adultery with Beersheba, and God was not happy with him(2 Sam.12:27). God was not happy with such act and he had to pay for the consequence of his sin. The good part of this was that he sincerely owned up to his fault when he was confronted of his evil act and repented straightway before God. Beloved, do you own up to your faults, shortcomings or sins whenever God shows you your error or you are always defensive and have your way? This kind of attitude will not make you grow in your relationship with God of all grace but to be humble, own up to your faults and make amends towards a sincere confession. May the Lord help you! An overflowing of God's presence is the result of a controlled thought that is under the influence of the word of His grace. Once you engage in the best meditation daily, there will be a notable change in your life and personality. The transformation of your spiritual life and witness will not be evident if you fail to give yourself to the best meditation. The totality of a man's life is best wrapped up in his daily meditation. Many has made money, fame, and deceitfulness of richies to be their best meditation daily. What is your own meditation all day? To experience the impact of the best meditation, begin to love His Word, devote yourself to the Scriptures for your own need, renew your mind daily and engage in prayerful meditation in the Word of God. Beloved, do not be contented to quickly reach for a commmentary on the Scriptures because what you need most is to search the Scriptures for yourself, and engage in prayerful meditation that will provoke revelation for your lifetime fulfilment. CONTROL YOUR THOUGHT

DAILY GRACE THURS. 8TH FEB. 2018 CONTROL YOUR THOUGHT 2 CORINT. 10:5 "Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." As a man thinks, so is he, whatever you think about when you are free or alone, that is what you will soon become. If you are sincere to check on your true spiritual condition now, you may do so by noting what your voluntary thoughts have been over the last hours or few days. To really help on this, take this few easy probing questions; What has your thought pattern looks like when free to think of what you pleased? Toward what has your inner man turned when it was free to turn where it would? When the bird of thought was let go did it fly out like the raven to settle upon floating carcasses or did it like the dove circle and return again to the ark of God? Friend, the best way to control your thoughts is to offer your mind to God of all grace in absolute obedience and surrender. The Holy Spirit will accept it and take control of it instantly. Then it will be relatively easy for you to think on spiritual things, especially if you train your thought pattern by long periods of daily communion in prayer. Long practice in the art of mental prayer (that is, talking to God inwardly as you engage in your daily work or travel) and this simple act will help you to form the habit of holy thought that can be controlled.  May the Lord help you to overcome constant struggles that is competing with your thought life. DIRECT YOUR VOICE

DAILY GRACE WEDS. 7TH FEB. 2018 DIRECT YOUR VOICE PSALMS 5:3 "My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up." The voice of the Lord is a suitable voice to connect with in the early hour of each day. Staying in the secret place till the surrounding noises begin to fade out of your heart and a sense of God's presence envelops you is the best decision to kick off your day with. Deliberately tune out your voice to Him, and listen to the inward voice till you learn to recognize its influence upon your inner man. Stop rushing out of your closet without letting Him hear your voice early. Give yourself to God of all grace, also learn to pray inwardly every moment. After a while you can do this even while you at work, call home with your voice and practice spiritual concentration daily. Friend, give yourself to the simple act of letting Him hear your voice in the morning, He will then direct you to those things that would enhance your daily walk with Him, and enable you to direct your supplication and serve Him better. THEY RELIED UPON GOD

DAILY GRACE TUES.6TH FEB. 2018 THEY RELIED UPON GOD 2 CHRONICLES 13:18 "The Israelites were subdued on that occasion, and the people of Judah were victorious because they relied on the LORD, the God of their ancestors". Beloved, you must always have it in your mind that God of all grace will not take the sin of idolatry lightly because He is a jealous God and He hates to be likened with any other gods. The children of Israel forsook the LORD God of their ancestors, served other gods, drove out the Levites (God's mouth piece) and made sacrifices to these strange gods. They trusted in the arms of flesh (multitudes of warriors) to fight their battle at this point in time. 2 Chr. 13:8-9. All of these failed them, for God is not a respecter of person, and by strength shall no man prevailed. However, God of all grace granted the people of Judah great victory because they solely relied upon Him for help and He surely came to their rescue. God has said, He will honour those that honour Him and despise those who despise Him; this was what played out on the case of these people. Friend, who do you place your hope in? Where is your confidence? On God or man, material things of this world that will soon pass away with its beauty? As a believer, you must anchor your hope, faith and confidence in God of all grace, for those who trust in Him will never be put to shame. Shalom! Enjoy your day!!! DAILY GRACE MON. 5TH FEB. 2018 FAITH WITHOUT WORKS JAMES 2:26 "For just as the human body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works [of obedience] is also dead." Happy new working week to you beloved. God of all grace wants you to understand that the Christian journey is a journey of faith. This faith is not only expressed in our confessions alone but in our actions, works or good deeds to God and humanity. Works of obedience is what makes our faith a living faith. Without putting your faith into profitable action, it is only referred to as a dead faith. We will know what you belief by your actions (works of obedience). Abraham acted in obedience to God and this made his faith a living and active one. It was his obedience to God of all grace that showed to us what he believed and who his belief was centered upon. Hereupon, showed forth his faith and his works (the work of obedience to God's word). Friend, don't just be a professor of faith alone, add benevolent action that reflect the works of love, obedience and faithfulness unto God and humanity. Enjoy your day!!! DAILY GRACE SUN.4TH FEB. 2018 HE RECOVERED ALL 1 SAMUEL 30:19 "And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, not anything that they had taken to them; David recovered all." Total recovery is in the grand plan of the Father for all and Sundry that call upon the name of the Lord out of a pure heart. What exactly as the enemy stolen from you? It could be in the physical or spiritual, in your marriage, finances, career or ministry, etc. The God of all grace that fought for David will defend your interest and return those things back to you in double fold in Jesus' name. The enemy literally stole all that belonged to David and his 600 warrior men. They were all disheartened, cried and were almost lifeless (1 Sam. 30:4). Until David, remember that the great God he served, he cried out to God and enquired of the Lord whether he should pursue his enemies and God assured him of immense success as he pursued them and so it was for them that they all rejoiced again and recovered ALL plus addition (1 Sam. 30:6-8). Friend, let your hope be in the God of all grace regardless of any situation that come your way this year. Always commune with Him over all affairs of your life, engage in prayer of enquiry where needed and go all out to fulfil the instructions given to you by God of all grace, and when you do this, be sure that He will grant you maximum success and people will rejoice with you in Jesus' name. INHABITS ETERNITY

DAILY GRACE SAT.3RD FEB., 2018 INHABITS ETERNITY ISAIAH 57: 15 "For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones."" God of all grace inhabits eternity, and He has made the eternity to dwell within you as a believer in Christ Jesus. And this becomes a reality when you keep the consistence practice of solitude and silence before Him. Your thought and what goes on in your heart is very important to the God of all grace. I discover that you don't have to do wrong to get under blistering conviction and repent. You can lose the fellowship of God of all grace, sense of His presence and a touch of spirituality by just thinking wrong. God of all grace is saying to you this morning that He inhabits your thought life. He says "I dwell in your thoughts. Make your thoughts a sanctuary in which I can dwell. See to it." You can't do anything with your heart—that is too deep—but you can control the direction of your thoughts life to accommodate Me! And if you keep your thoughts pure, without harbouring any hatred, bitterness, bickering, and defiled word. You will then see your thought becoming a sanctuary God of all grace can inhabits just as He inhabits eternity. Beloved, don't let any of the rest of your life dishonor God by living with a defiled thought. See to it that not a foot of ground is unholy. See to it that every hour and every place is given over to Him to inhabits, and you will worship Him and He will graciously accept it. May the Lord make your thought to be a sanctuary for Him this morning where He can dwell comfortably. THE SIMPLE ACT

DAILY GRACE 2ND FEB., 2018 THE SIMPLE ACT MARK 6:46 "And when He had sent them away, He departed to the mountain to pray" Having received the prophetic mandate for your exceeding fruitfulness as you make progress this year, you need to avail yourself the secret of bathing your soul in silence in the secret place of His presence__ The Simple Act! This was a golden secret our Lord Jesus Christ knew very well There were times when He had to send the multitudes away so He could retire alone into the silence of the mountainside in order to recharge. There He would turn the God-ward side of His soul toward heaven and for a long time expose Himself to the face of His Father in heaven for outpouring. The immaturities in the so-called evangelicalism of our time today is worrisome. The more noise many make, the happier they seem to be without taken time to withdraw into silent moment. There are general abhorrence of being alone by some, of being silent before the Lord. We shrink from allowing our souls to be bathed in the healing silences of solemn solitude. Even busyness of the days have kept many from keeping this attitude daily. Friends, your exceeding fruitfulness is connected to this simple act! May the Lord grant you the grace to really master this discipline of solitude no matter how busy your days may be. DAILY GRACE 1ST FEB., 2018 THE LORD LIVETH 2 SAMUEL 22:47 God of all grace is very much alive, the Rock of our salvation indeed is forever alive. He is exalted over our possessions in life. Your understanding of this golden fact will help your heart to note the fact that nothing of earth's treasures shall seem dear unto you and the following shall continually be your confessions! Lord, be Thou exalted over my life. I am determined that You shall be above all. Be Thou exalted above my comforts. Though it means the loss of bodily comforts and the carrying of heavy crosses, I shall keep my vow made this year before You. Be Thou exalted over my profession and reputation. Make me ambitious to please You even if as a result I must sink into obscurity and my name be forgotten as a dream. Rise, O Lord, into Thy proper place of honor, above my ambitions, above my likes and dislikes, above my family, my health and even my life itself. Lord, let me decrease that You may increase beyond limitations; let me sink that You may rise above. Ride forth upon me as You did ride into Jerusalem city mounted upon the humble colt, and let me hear the children cry to You, "Hosanna in the highest."  In my increasing knowledge of You, Lord, and as I spend more time in solitude, worship and silence before You, this confession becomes so personal and logical.
