PRAY FOR ALL PEOPLE

DAILY GRACE SUN .16TH JULY, 2017 PRAY FOR ALL PEOPLE 1 TIMOTHY 2:1 "I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. As you make your requests, plead for God's mercy upon them, and give thanks." God wants us to pray this way for Kings and all others who are in authority, so that we can live in peace and quietness, in godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God of all grace as our Saviour, for He wants everyone to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. What a great mystery! Regardless of who they are, where they come from or how bad they have been. All that matters to the heart of God of all grace is that the voice of intercession be raised for them, so that they can come to the knowledge of the truth Once believers fail to pray for them, then godliness, righteousness, and dignity might not reign but when we raise our voices in the place of prayer, and on behalf of our land. Then, the heart of our leaders will drawn toward the Lord, and will be committed to doing right always. Whatever we desire to see them do, we need to give it voice in the place of prayer. It is then peace can reign in our land. As a body of Christ, God wants us to humble our hearts before Him and pray for our dear country, plead for forgiveness of innocent blood shed on the land, confess our sins ancestors (idolatry, slavery, etc). It is my prayer that you will take up the challenge today and pray for the nation, instead of complaining, murmuring and condemning the leadership. Enjoy your day!
