Chosen Race 2

DAILY GRACE
TUES. 1ST MARCH, 2016
TOPIC: Chosen Race 2
TEXT: 1 Peter 2:9

Happy New Month to you. God want me to tell you that you should go forward this March just as He told Moses to tell the children of Israel (Exodus 14:15). Whatever has held you down last two months shall loose their hold over you and your life will march forward to higher ground this month in Jesus Christ name.
Let’s continue from where we paused yesterday;
You are chosen to be separated from sin, sinner, and Satan i.e consecrated unto God to offer acceptable worship. (1kgs.8:53)
You are chosen by God to be a peculiar or special treasure unto God above all people. (Ex.19:6)
You are chosen by God to have direct access to God through Jesus Christ not through your bishop. (Jhn.14:16)
You are chosen by God to be under divine order and obligation to live a godly or holy lives. (1 Pet.1:14-17)
You are chosen by God to live under grace not under the law. (Rom.6:14)
You are chosen by God to enjoy grace in order to be exonerated from disgrace.

To be continued……
Personal Confession: Father, grant me fresh revelation of what you have chosen me to be in life in Jesus Christ name.

Chosen Race

DAILY GRACE
MON. 29TH FEBRUARY, 2016
 TOPIC: Chosen Race
TEXT: 1Peter 2:9

Welcome to a fresh week. This week shall launch you into the realm of abundant provision and promotion in Jesus name.
You are a chosen generation by God, and it has pleased Him to choose you out of many to be called out of darkness of sin, sorrow, and shame into His marvelous light.
Chosen race implies the chosen you! You are chosen by God to be a special people (treasure) for His possession. As long as you are a true believer in Christ Jesus, hence you are  hereby chosen by God, even the Son of God said it that I  chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit (John 15:16).
Dearly beloved, you must walk in the understanding of what you have been chosen to do in life, and failure to gain insights into this revelation may make life meaningless to you. Let’s draw some truth from the main text above about what you have been chosen to do in life. Thus, you are hereby chosen by God to be the following;
You are chosen by God to be raised from grass to grace, and from nobody to somebody in Christ.
You are Chosen by God to be equipped with Pentecostal grace for greater exploit, because if you are not doing exploits in life you will be exploited.
You are chosen by God to be empowered to express the power of God. If you are not empowered by the Holy Spirit, you cannot express the power of God.
You are chosen to be a Royal priesthood i.e. you have a royal relationship with God and Christ Jesus.

ANGEL AHEAD ll

DAILY GRACE
SUN. 28TH FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: ANGEL AHEAD ll
TEXT: Exo. 23:20-27

Happy glorious Sunday to you. You will agree with me that we serve a faithful God. He has dealt wondrously with us all since the beginning of this month. As the month is ending this week, God has some specific instructions for us. Our entrance into our promised land depends on our obedient faith towards God's instructions to us.(1John 5:3)
Beloved, today by His grace, we will also see what blessing and benefits are embedded in obeying God's commandments.

   The instructions God has for us as He sends His Angel ahead of us are;
(1.) Obey his voice. Do all of His biddings day and night
(2.) Beware of Him. Take cognizance of Him, do not be complacent of Him that you disrespect Him in your heart, deeds and words.
(3.) Do not provoke Him. This means that He can get angry, if you push Him to anger through your disobedient acts. Ensure you do not do what will cause Him to stop going with you in your life's journey this year and beyond. The major thing that can provoke this Angel of God is your sin (murmuring, grudges, backbiting, sexual immorality, high-mindedness, hatred, malice, ingratitude, deceit, etc).
After God must have taken you to your place of rest, ensure that you do not serve the gods(idols) of the land He is taking you to. Do not even bow down or pay obeisance to their gods. Don't even make a practice of their works, for it will corrupt your heart against the Lord God.
You must uncover their gods, overthrown them and their idols. Note that this can only be done in the place of prayer.(Eph. 6:12-13).
You must serve the true and the living God all your life. Vs.25.
  So you may ask that what exactly are my blessings and benefits if i do all of these instructions? These are ;
(a.) God will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. Vs. 22. When this occured, then all your battles becomes God's battles, you will then be able to hold your peace (Ish1:19, Exo. 14:13-14). What an awesome experience for you to sit and watch God fight your battles for you. He has promised that He will.

(b.) God will make you possess the gate and the habitation of your enemies.Vs. 23. You will possess your possessions and take your territories.

(c.) God will bless your bread and water (Psalms 23:1) i.e to say that you will not know any lack, as all your hands endeavours will be blessed and flourish greatly. No matter the state of Naira against Dollar, God will supply all your needs.

(d.) God will take away sickness from you. You and your family members will be free of every kind of sicknesses. Be it Zika, Lassa virus, polio diseases, financial sickness, marital sickness, or even spiritual sickness, etc. You will be totally free and escape all of these.

(e.) You will not cast your young neither will you be barren (Isa. 65:20). This is to say that you will not experience miscarriage, abortion of destiny nor be unfruitful. While others are having all these negative experience,
it will not come near you (Psalms 91:7-11).

(f.) You will fulfil the numbers of your days on earth. In order words, you will not die prematurely (psalms 91:16). You will not sow for another to reap. You will not build for another to inhabit, you will live long like trees (Ish. 65:21-33). All these and many more unmentioned here the Lord will do for you and your household, if you obey the Lord and do His will with the whole of your heart.

Personal Confession: Oh Lord, my Father help me to obey all your precepts for my life that I may enjoy all your blessing and benefits for my life in Jesus' name.

ANGEL AHEAD 1

DAILY GRACE
SAT. 27TH FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC:ANGEL AHEAD 1
TEXT: Exodus 23:20.

Happy weekend to you. Today, by the grace of God, I see God bringing to you a divine word of release into your large place where He has prepared for you. It is a word of comfort, consolation, assurance and a certain one too. God said, " Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep (protect or guide) thee in the way (your life's journey, endeavour, endowment, travel, etc), and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared (your promised land flowing with milk and honey)".

I have never seen God give a promise and then fails to fulfill it. Oh, never! (Num. 23:19) For He said, He will not let you pass through that situation alone! Rather, l will be with you (Ish 43:2), He will not leave you alone nor desert you, but certainly see you through.
Beloved, are you in a state of giving up, does it seems to you that all hope is gone, has everyone (even loved ones) forsaken you, does it look like there's no more hope for you? I have a sure word for you, God said He will send His angel ahead of you even before the situation starts. He has made a way for you before your problem started. I urge you to see your situation with the eye of faith and believe His sure word for you. For Sarah, judged God faithful who has promised her a son and then she received strength to conceive and deliver her son (Heb. 11:11). You have got only one thing to do and it is for you to stop seeing by sight but with the eyes of faith. You must not allow the devil to cheat you because what he does is to make you take this kind of 'faith' word with levity hands. And if you do, God will not be able tov help you. Hence, position yourself where God can easily reach out to help you and that's the position of faith in God and in His words. God bless you.To be continued.

Personal Confession: Lord Jesus, help me to believe your sure promises for my life.

RANSOM FOR MANY

DAILY GRACE
FRI. 26TH FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: RANSOM FOR MANY
TEXT: MARK 10:45

As this new weekend kick-off today, you will encounter grace to scale new heights and new levels of glory in Jesus' name.
The Son of God declare His personal mission statement on earth to His disciples in order to convince them of this, He sets before them His own example;
(1.) He took upon Him the form of a servant, came not to be ministered to, and waited upon, but to minister, and wait to be gracious. (2.) He became obedient to death, and to its dominion, for He gave His life a ransom for many like you and I.
This is a supreme example of leadership and He has shown it by abandoning His status, which was as high as it could possibly be, and making Himself no reputation (Philippians 2:5-8).
He is the first who made Himself the slave of all. He said His death meant 'a ransom'. A ransom is what is paid to get a hostage or prisoner set free. In that sense, the ransom is the exact equivalent of the one who is bought out, the ransom takes their place. It is a direct, one-for-one substitution. Jesus’ death paid the ransom for you and I to be saved. Thus, you are saved to serve.
The idea of a ransom payment does provide that note of substitution by an equivalent. ‘Many’. It pays what was due – the penalty of death, our death sentence for sin. There are echoes in this verse of that great passage in Isaiah 53 that describes the mission of the one who is known as ‘the Servant of the Lord’, especially in vs.11-12. Jesus has come to save  'many’ not 'few'. This is a message for all those who has been saved to rise for the salvation of others. He lives in order to die so that believers may be freed from the power of sin, self, Satan and death.

Personal Confession: Lord Jesus, your death on the cross will not be in vain over my life in Jesus Christ Name. Âmen.

Choose This Day 3

DAILY GRACE
THUR. 25TH FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: Choose This Day 3
TEXT: Joshua 24:15

As we continue from where we paused yesterday to wrap up this veritable insights.
[4.] Joshua directed the choice of the Israelites on this matter by an open declaration of his own resolutions: “But as for me and my house, whatever you do, we will serve the Lord". And I hope you will also be of the same mind?
Let's examine his resolves:
First, for himself: As for me, I will serve the Lord. Look at how how positive he was: “I will serve God.” It is no abridgment of our liberty to bind ourselves with a bond to God. What's your resolve this year? Is it to serve God or Mammon?
Secondly, For his house, i.e his family, his children and servants, such as were immediately under his eye and care, his inspection, watch, and influence. Joshua was a ruler, a judge in Israel, yet he did not make his necessary application to public affairs to be an excuse for the neglect of family worship. Those that have the charge of many families, as magistrates and ministers, must take special care of their own (1 Tim. 3:4, 5). I and my house will serve God.

Note 1: “Not my house, without me.” He would not engage them to that work which he would not set his own hands to. As some who would have their children and servants good, but will not be so themselves; that is, they would have them go to heaven, but intend to go to hell themselves.       Note 2: “Not I, without my house.” He supposes he might be forsaken by his people, but in his house, where his authority was greater and more immediate, there he would over-rule. Note that when we cannot bring as many as we would to the service of God we must bring as many as we can, and extend our endeavours to the utmost sphere of our activity and influence.  "I, and then my house.” Note, Those that lead and rule in other things should be first in the service of God, and go before in the best things.
Note 3: Joshua resolved to do this irrespective of whatever others did. Though all the families of Israel should revolt from God, and serve idols, yet Joshua and his family will steadfastly adhere to the God of Israel. You must note that those who resolve to serve God must not mind being singular in it, nor be drawn by the crowd to forsake their service. Those that are bound for heaven must be willing to swim against the stream, and must not do as the multitudes do, but as the best do.

Personal Confession: Father, grant me grace to make the right choice of unreserved services unto you in life and destiny in Jesus Christ name.

Choose This Day 2

DAILY GRACE
WED. 24TH FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC:  Choose This Day II
TEXT: Joshua 24:15

Let's continue from where we paused yesterday in our expository insights into the above text.
[3.] Joshua refers it to themselves: “Choose you whom you will serve, choose this day, now that the matter is laid thus plainly before you, speedily bring it to a head, and do not stand hesitating.” Elijah, long after this, referred the decision of the controversy between Jehovah and Baal to the consciences of those with whom he was dealing with (1 Kgs. 18:21).

I perceive Joshua’s putting the matter here to this issue plainly intimates two things:
First, That it is the will of God for every one of us to make serious and deliberate choice to serve Him.
Let us resolve upon a life of serious godliness, not merely because we know no other way, but because really, upon search for Him alone.

Secondly, That religion has so much self-evident reason and righteousness on its side that it may safely be referred to every man that allows himself a free thought either to choose or refuse it for the merits of the cause are so plain that no considerate man can do otherwise but choose it. The case is so clear that it determines itself. Perhaps Joshua designed, by putting them to their choice, thus to try if there were any among them who, upon so fair an occasion given, would show a coolness and indifference towards the service of God, whether they would desire time to consider and consult their friends before they gave in an answer, and if any such should appear he might set a mark upon them, and warn the rest to avoid them.

Choose This Day 1

DAILY GRACE
TUE. 23RD FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: Choose This Day 1
TEXT: Joshua 24:15

Top of the day to you, may the Lord bless you and cause His face to shine upon you today.  As we study the above text further, I perceive Joshua fairly puts the matter to their choice in the next verse, and let’s look at his fair proposition;

[1.] He proposed the candidates that stand for the election.  The Lord; Jehovah, on one side and on the other side either the gods of their ancestors. Which would pretend to recommend themselves to those that were fond of antiquity and that which was received by tradition from their fathers, or the gods of their neighbours, the Amorites, in whose land they dwelt, which would insinuate themselves into the affections of those that were complaisant and fond of good fellowship.        Friends, who do you want to vote for in life?
[2.] He supposed that there were those to whom, upon some account or the other, it may seem evil to serve the Lord. There are prejudices and objections which some people raise today against being saved to serve the Lord, which, with those that are inclined to the world and the flesh, have great force. It seems evil to them, hard and unreasonable, to be obliged to deny themselves, mortify the deeds of the flesh and take up their cross to follow Jesus Christ, etc.
Do not allow unwise prejudices and objections blind your heart and also prevent you from serving the Lord sincerely and faithfully. Make the right Choice today!

Serve the Lord

DAILY GRACE
MON. 22ND FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: Serve the Lord
TEXT: Joshua 24:14

Welcome to a fresh week. It shall be a new week of favour  and fulfilment  for you in Jesus' Name.
The mercies of God to the children of Israel is by way of exhortation to fear and serve Him, in gratitude for His favour and that it might be fulfilled in them according to the text above.

Now therefore, in consideration of all these;
(1.)  Fear the Lord, the Lord and His goodness (Hos. 3:5). This is to reverence a God of such infinite power. Fear to offend Him and to forfeit His goodness, keep up an awe of His majesty, a deference to His authority, a dread of His displeasure, and a continual regard to His all-seeing eye upon you. The beginning of wisdom for your living is marked by your fear of the Lord Almighty.
(2.) Let your practice be consonant to this principle, and serve Him both by the outward acts of genuine worship and every instance of obedience in your whole conversation, and conduct. This, service done in sincerity and truth, with a single eye and an upright heart; inward impressions answerable to outward expressions of your life.  This is the truth in the inward part, which God requires (Ps. 51:6).
Beloved, for what good will it do you to dissemble with a God that searches the heart?
(3.) Put away the strange gods. Both Chaldean and Egyptian idols, for those the Israelites were most in danger of revolting to. It should seem by this charge which is repeated in (Josh. 24:23), that there were some among them that privately kept in their closets the images or pictures of these dunghill-deities, which came to their hands from their ancestors, as heir-looms of their families. Though, it may be that they did not worship them, still Joshua earnestly urges them to throw away these idols for them to be able to serve God profitably. There may be some strange gods that you are still holding close to and this in return may be hampering your acceptable worship and service unto God. I urge you this day to quickly deface them, destroy them, lest you be tempted to serve them. May the Lord help you.

Personal Confession: Lord, help me to serve you willingly, sincerely, and faithfully in Jesus Christ name.

DAILY GRACE
SUN. 21ST FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: You are gods
TEXT: Psalm 82: 6

Happy glorious Sunday to you. I trust God that you will experience Him in an awesome way today in His presence.  The Lord is bringing you a word again. A word that will change your life and the way you see yourself. Whenever such word of God comes to us, God does that so that He can reposition us, change our view/perspective and mindset about  the whole thing surrounding our lives and then equip us to do great exploits. But you see, this great exploits can not come until we change the way we see things generally. And this, can only come when a word of faith has been released in our direction. For faith comes by constant hearing of the word of God (Rom. 10:17).
Today, God says to you that "you are a god". Ordinarily speaking, it is unbelievable to think or say that mere mortals are as "gods". But, when God says it, He actually meant what He said  (Num. 23:19). For Moses, God told him that "I will make you as God to Pharaoh and Aaron your brother will be your Prophet".(Ex.7:1) Moses could not believe it but since this word came out of the mouth of Yahweh Himself, he had no choice than to believe. He believed God and did as God has commanded him. God really made Moses a god to Pharaoh that after God finished dealing with him, he beaconed to Moses to speak to His God to stop all the plagues in the land of Egypt.
Beloved, this is God's word to you now; you are god over those awful situations and circumstances that you are in presently.  In fact, God said through the mouth of David that "I say to you, ye are gods, you are the sons of the Most High" (Ps.82:6)      You are a god on this planet earth, so long as you are the son of the Most High.
Rom. 8:14 says, those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. The original plan of God has He made man was to make him a god on the earth. A god who will dominate and rule his world for God. A god that will be fruitful, multiply, replenish, and subdue the earth in all its spheres and every where he finds himself (Gen. 1:28). It was God's original plan for man to rule over all that He has made. This is also including all principalities and powers, rulers of darkness in high places and every work of the Devil. You are to be a true representative of God the Most High, if you are not, then the Devil is cheating on you. You need to rise up and take your place in the God of all grace. For you are seated with Christ Jesus in heavenly places far above principalities and powers (Eph. 1:19-21).
I challenge you to wake up the sleeping god in you and rule your world for God. God is counting on you! Go and win with Jesus.

NOW THEREFORE, GO!

DAILY GRACE
SAT. 20TH FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: NOW THEREFORE, GO!
TEXT: Exodus 4:12

It's a glorious weekend for you. I believe God will perfect all that concerns you this weekend and cause you to rejoice over all you are looking up to Him for.
Today, God is giving you an instruction that will profit you and enlarge your coast. The instruction is simple and not hard to do. It only needs your faith all together in the Instructor (God). For, He says to you, "Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shall say".
This was the instruction given to Moses; the stammerer, wanderer and the forsaken one (at a point in his lifetime).
At this time, he fled from the face of Pharaoh who sought to kill him (Exo. 2:15). But, God of his forefathers met with him.
Remember, that at this point in his lifetime, he was a shepherd to the flock of his father-in-law (Exo. 3:1-3).  He was confused, rejected by the king and does not really know what to do with his life. He only had a knowing in himself that he chose to be identified with the Israelites who were mere slaves, than to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter (Heb. 11: 24-25). He didn't know how to go about it. But, suddenly, his word came. I pray that your heavens will be opened and your word will surely come in Jesus name. And a simple instruction was given to him and it was for him to "Go, now"! "Go, now"!!, "Go, now"!!!. Not tomorrow or any other time but now!
Moses was very hesitant about accepting his destiny, and God had reassured him of His signs and wonders that will convince the people, but he was focused on his own inadequacies .This kind of attitude is so common to
those who are asked to go forth to take the gospel of Christ to the world.
I decree upon your life, that every area of your life where you are experiencing hardship and roadblock now; your heavens will be opened and your personal word will come and as you go for it; your laughter comes too. Remember, beloved that you need to exercise your faith in this unchanging God as you obey His instructions (Rom.10:17, Jude 1:20).

Personal Confession:  Oh Lord my Father, let my personal word come in Jesus Christ's name.

GOD'S RIVER

DAILY GRACE
FRI.19TH FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: GOD'S RIVER
TEXT: PSALM 46:4

I welcome you to another great start of new weekend today. It shall be a moment of overflowing joy for you and your family.
There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God...
This river belongs to Almighty God,  where there is a continuous overflow of His love, grace, glory, and power in the midst of His faithful followers, and it is a pure grace life giving river that flows from God the Father(fountain of the living water), God the Son (John 4:14), and God the Holy Spirit (John 7:38-39).
This river flows from the throne of grace and constantly refreshes, reprocess and renews us , not only those of us on the earth, but those in heaven (Rev.22:1).
Beloved, the most significant blessing I perceive of this very particular river is that, it brings God of all grace into the life of everyone that walk faithfully with Him, and often present with them for their help. Be passionate and desperate to be a carrier of this river and God will bless you richly.
TGIF, and enjoy your day!

Personal Confession: Lord empower me to walk daily and faithfully with you in Jesus Christ name.

BE ABASED & ABOUND Ill

DAILY GRACE
THUR.18TH FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: BE ABASED & ABOUND Ill
TEXT: PHIL 4:12

You will receive favourable glad tidings today by His grace.
As we rap up our expository insights on being able to abased and abound in life as Christian. We must not forget the impact of contentment on our decision to heed this great virtue.
Today, there are many who know "how to be abased" who have not learned "how to abound." When they are set upon the top of a pinnacle their heads grow dizzy, and they are ready to fall. The Christian far often disgraces his profession in prosperity than in adversity.
The crucible of adversity is a less severe trial to the Christian than the refining pot of prosperity. Oh, what leanness of soul and neglect of spiritual things have been brought on through the very mercies and bounties of God!
Yet, this is not a matter of necessity, for the Apostle tells us that he knew how to abound. When he had much he knew how to use it.
Abundant grace enabled him to bear abundant prosperity. When he had a full sail he was loaded with much, and so floated safely. It needs more than human skill to carry the brimming cup of mortal joy with a steady hand, yet Apostle Paul had learned that skill as we x~ray yesterday, for he declares, "In all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry." It is a divine lesson for you to know how to be full, for the Israelites were full once, but while the flesh was yet in their mouth, the wrath of God came upon them.
Many have asked for mercies that they might satisfy their own hearts' lust. Fullness of bread has often made fullness of blood and that has brought on wantonness of spirit. When we have much of God's providential mercies, it often happens that we have but little of God's grace, and little gratitude for the bounties we have received. We are full and we forget God, satisfied with earth, we are content to do without heaven.
Be rest assured that it is harder to know how to be full than it is to know how to be hungry--so desperate is the tendency of human nature to pride and forgetfulness of God.
Friends, take care that you ask in your prayers today that God would teach you how to be full.
Personal Confession: Father, teach me how to be full of your grace to abound and abased.

BE ABASED & ABOUND Il

DAILY GRACE
WED.17TH FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: BE ABASED & ABOUND Il
TEXT: PHIL 4:11

Top of a new day to you. It would be a day of supernatural strength for you.
To know how to be  abased and abound, contentment knowledge is required.
The above text shows us that contentment is not a natural propensity of man.  Covetousness, discontentment, and murmuring are as natural to man as thorns are to the soil. We need not to sow thistles and brambles; they come up naturally enough, because they are indigenous to earth: and so, we need not teach men to complain, they complain fast enough without any training or education. But the precious things of the earth must be cultivated. If truly you want to be abound and abased, you must learn "contentment".

If we would have wheat, we must plough and sow, if we want flowers, there must be the garden, and all the gardener's care.
Now beloved, contentment is one of the flowers of heaven, and if we would have it, it must be cultivated, it will not grow in us by nature, it is the new nature of grace alone that can produce it, and even then we must be specially careful and watchful that we
maintain and cultivate the grace which God has sown in us.
Apostle Paul says, "I have learned ... to be content;" as much as to say, he did not know how at one time. It cost him some pains to attain to the mystery of contentment in life. No doubt he sometimes thought he had learned, and then broke down. And when at last he had attained unto it, and could say, "I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
If you too must by any means attain unto this good degree of this great truth of contentment.
Do not indulge the notion that you can be contented without learning, or learn without discipline. NO! It is not a power that may be exercised naturally, but a science, practice and discipline to be acquired gradually. I know this from personal experience daily.

To be continued.....

Personal Confession: Father, baptize me with the grace for contentment in life.

DAILY GRACE
TUE.16TH FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: BE ABASED & ABOUND I
TEXT: PHIL 4:12

Welcome to a new day. It shall be a day of strength and fulfilment for you.
This is a special act of grace to accommodate ourselves to every condition of life, and carry an equal temper of mind through all the varieties of our state. Let's look at this special act of grace closely:

Firstly, to accommodate ourselves to an afflicted condition- to know how to be abased, how to be hungry, how to suffer want, so as not to be overcome by the temptations of it, either to lose our comfort in God or distrust His providence, or to take any indirect course for our own supply.

Secondly, to a prosperous condition-to know how to abound, how to be full, so as not to be proud, or secured or luxurious. And this is as hard a lesson as the other, for the temptations of fullness and prosperity are not less than those of affliction and want. But how must we learn it? I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, (Phil. 4:13).
We must secure strength from Christ to enable us to perform not only those duties which are purely Christian, but even those which are the fruit of moral virtue. We need His strength to teach us to be contented in every condition and situation. The Apostle had seemed to boast of himself and of his own strength, I know how to be abased (Phil. 4:12) but here he transfers all the praise to Christ. “What do I talk of knowing how to be abased and how to abound? It is only through Christ who strengthens me that I can do it, not in my own strength but by His grace.” So we are required to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Eph. 6:10), and to be strong in the grace which is in Christ Jesus (2 Tim. 2:1); and we are strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man.

To be continued....

Personal Confession: Father, infuse me with the fullness of your grace to be abased and abound in life in Jesus Christ's name.

DAILY GRACE
MON.15TH FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: MANNER OF LOVE
TEXT: 1 John 3:1

I welcome you to this new week, your testimonies this week will daze your enemies in the name of Jesus Christ.
The manner of love by which God has loved us is wonderful, unusual and awesome. I am amazed by the mystery and manner of His love that resulted into being called the the sons of God (Gal.3:26).
One of the greatest revelation of the new testament is that God is our heavenly Father and we are His sons and daughters.
From the text above, let's briefly have some expository insights into the manner of His unfailing love.

(1.) It is a high privilege and honor to be adopted in Christ as His very own (Eph.1:5)
(2.) This manner of love confirms the basis of our faith/ trust in God and our hope of glory for the future (Matt.6:25-34)
(3.) The manner of His love toward us made us the heirs of God and Co-heirs with Christ Jesus.(Rom.8:16-17, Gal.4:7)
(4.) The manner of His love made us aware of our status in God through the Spirit of adoption(Rom.8:15, Gal.4:6)
(5.) The manner of His love grant us the grace to be led by the Spirit of God.(Rm.8:14)
(6.) The manner of His love helps us to conform to  the likeness or image of His Son Rom.8:29)
(7.) The manner of His love grants the basis for our discipline by the Father.(Heb.12:6-7,11).
Friends, having considered the mystery of the manner of this love shed abroad in our hearts as son and daughter, we must endeavor to reflect the true identity of  this love daily irrespective of opposition from the world.

Personal Confession: Father, empower me to reflect your love to the world in Jesus name.

THE LORD'S PRESENCE 1

DAILY GRACE
SAT.13TH FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC:  THE LORD'S PRESENCE I
TEXT: GEN 39:2

Happy weekend to you. I believe God for pleasant surprises for you and the Lord will cause you to be a grace carrier where your life will speak forth greatness on all sides.
Today, we will be looking at the life of Joseph, a man who was a grace carrier of the manifold presence of God of heaven. Genesis 39:2 says, "And
the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian." The Lord Jehovah was with Joseph (a teenager, an outcast, the motherless,  a slave boy, friendless, and a young man forsaken by his own brethren). But, one thing stands sure, he was a carrier of God presence. For God was with him everywhere and through all the awful situations he was passing through.
He was a slave boy, yet a carrier of God's manifold presence; which made him to be extremely prosperous, imagine a slave boy being prosperous, only God's presence can do this. God didn't just make him prosperous but also made ALL that he laid his hands upon to prosper. What an uncommon favour! You see, Genesis 39:3 says, "And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand." It was evident in his life that he was a grace carrier, to the extent that his own master saw that God was with him. And that it was God that causes all that he laid his hands upon to prosper.
Friends, if you are not a carrier of His grace, an outsider, mockers, friends, enemies, acquaintances or unbelievers around you can not see the manifold presence of God in your life. People need to see that you do not run your life by mere human effort, wisdom and strength but by His grace.
They need to see that you are a carrier of such amazing presence of God that reveals itself to others around you. Psalms 90:17 says, "And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it."It is when you are a carrier of His grace that the beauty of God will be seen on you and then He will establish the work of your hands.
Beloved, if there's anything you must crave for this year and that you can't do without is this manifold presence of God.

Personal confession: Father Lord, make me a carrier of your presence in the name of Jesus Christ.

WONDROUS LOVE

DAILY GRACE

FRI.12TH FEBRUARY, 2016

TOPIC: WONDROUS LOVE

TEXT: 2 SAM. 1:26

But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him, may you gain divine recognition via your act of love towards Him and men in Jesus name.

Dearly beloved reader, let each one of us speak for himself of the wonderful love, not of Jonathan as written in the above text, but of Jesus Christ.

We will not relate what we have been told, but the things which we have tasted and handled-of the love of Christ. Thy love to me, O Jesus Christ, was wonderful when I was a stranger wandering far from you, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind.

Thy love restrained me from committing the sin which is unto death, and withheld me from self-destruction. Thy love held back the axe when Justice said, "Cut it down! Thy love drew me into the wilderness, stripped me there, and made me feel the guilt of my sin, and the burden of mine iniquity.

Thy love speaks comfortably to me when I was sore dismayed and distressed.

Oh! How matchless is thy love when you did wash my sins away, and cleanse my polluted soul, which was crimsoned with the blood of my nativity, and black with the grime of my transgressions, to be white as the driven snow, and pure as the finest wool.

Never shall my soul forget those chambers of fellowship where you has unveiled thy love to me in unusual blessedness.

Meditate on the wonderful love of Christ Jesus and relate the wonder-filled experience to others around your neighborhood and let Him gain recognition of you by this very act indeed.

Personal Confession: Precious Lord Jesus, give me a fresh draught of thy wondrous love to begin this weekend in Jesus Christ name.

DAILY GRACE

WED. 10TH FEBRUARY, 2016

TOPIC: HIS FULLNESS III

TEXT: JOHN 1:16

Top of the day to you, I prophesy that your joy will be full this year and may the Lord satisfy you this day with the fullness of His exceeding love, peace and joy.

As we look at the manner and mysteries of the reception of this grace upon grace. The Greek word 'Charis' means grace. I will be sharing on Six (6) manners and mysteries of the reception of this grace upon grace as we progress gradually.

[1.] The Freeness Of this Grace.

It is grace for grace’ sake and freely given unto us. We receive grace, not for our sakes, but even so it is a gift according to grace (Rom. 12:6). It is grace to us for the sake of grace to Jesus Christ. God was well pleased in Him, and is therefore well pleased with us in Him, (Eph. 1:6).

[2.] The Fullness of this Grace.

Grace for grace is the abundance of grace, grace upon grace, one grace heaped upon another, overlapping and overflowing. As skin for skin is skin after skin, even all that a man has (Job 2:4). It is a blessing poured out, that there shall not be room to receive it, plenteous redemption, and one grace a pledge of more grace. Even in Egypt, Joseph had it in such a fullness as is called the fullness of God which we are filled with (Gen.39:1-6). We are not straitened in the grace of Christ, if we be not straitened in our own bosoms.

[3.] The Serviceableness  of this Grace.

Grace for grace is grace for the promoting and advancing of grace. Grace to be exercised by ourselves, gracious habits for gracious acts. Grace to be ministered to others, gracious commitments for gracious performances, grace is a gift or talent to be traded with. The apostles received grace that they might communicate and proclaim the kingdom of God on earth (Rom. 1:5, Eph. 3:8, 1 Pet. 4:10).

Beloved, you have not receive His grace in vain, endeavor in this your day to deploy it for gracious performance of the heartbeat of the Father, who is the giver of all.

To be continued……..

Personal Confession: Father, infuse me with the fullness of your grace for greater exploits in life in Jesus Christ name.

HIS FULLNESS 1

DAILY GRACE
MON. 8TH FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: HIS FULLNESS 1
TEXT: JOHN 1:16

"And of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace."

This week, you will experience and encounter His fullness of joy without limit in the name of Jesus Christ.
The Son is not simply full of grace, He has a fullness from which He shares with us and from His fullness we all (have) received even grace upon grace. It is certain that it is only in Him you can have the fullness of every thing in life and ministry.

The John 1:16 has a manifest connection with John 1:14, where the incarnate Word was said to be full of grace and truth. Now here, John the Baptist makes this the matter, not only of our adoration, but of our thankfulness, because from that fullness of Christ Jesus we all have received.

He received gifts for men (Ps. 68:18), that He might give gifts to men (Eph. 4:8). He was filled, that He might fill all in all (Eph. 1:23), might fill our treasures (Prov. 8:21). He has a fountain of fullness overflowing where we all have received.   I am delighted to share with you here that I have received the favour of this Apostleship i.e. grace and a fitness for it, i.e. truth from the Lord Jesus Christ.

All we believers in Christ, as many as received Him, received from His fullness, the best and greatest saints cannot live without Him, the meanest and weakest may live by Him. This excludes proud boasting, that we have nothing but we have received it from above, and silences perplexing fears, that we want nothing but we may receive His fullness of exceeding love and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Dearly beloved, if you are yet to accept Him as your Lord and personal savior, you won’t be able to enjoy the fullness of His love and joy. Accept Him today!

Let us see what it is that we have received from Him.

To be continued......

Personal Confession: Father, fill and satisfy me with the fullness of your presence this year in Jesus Christ name.

OBEDIENCE II

DAILY GRACE
7TH FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: Obedience Il
TEXT: 1 Sam. 15:22

This is a glorious week we are starting today, the Lord as planned to do us good and favour us by His grace. However, we have our parts to play. For us to eat the good of this land where God has placed us, we need to be willing and then obedient (Isa. 1:19). Willing to obey the Lord wholeheartedly, not half heartedly.
There is a willingness that must preceeds our obedience. As long as we are willing then, the grace for obedience is released on us. Beloved, it is God that works in us, both to will and do of his good pleasure. (Phil.2:13)
To obey laid down rules and regulations, is not an easy thing to do that comes naturally. But, when we submit our will to please God, He then creates the willingness in us which results in the action of obedience. Without submitting our will to God, it becomes very difficult for us to obey Him. To obey is better than offering sacrifice for atonement after one has disobeyed. You must give up your disobedience in order to go up with blessing of obedience.
Beloved, God is interested in our total, absolute, and complete obedience to Him. But, you need to know that you cannot obey God whom you have not seen if you disobey man's authority that you see. God is demanding for your total obedience this week. You need to develop a longing in your heart and pray to God to help you. It is when this is done then He will now endues you with exceeding grace and joy from above.

Personal Confession: O Lord, create in me the willingness and enablement to obey you.

GREAT GRACE II

DAILY GRACE

5TH FEBRUARY, 2016

TOPIC: GREAT GRACE II

TEXT: Acts 4:33

Thank God it's another great day to kick-off  favourable weekend for you in Jesus Christ name.

Having established yesterday that with great power they attested to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Beloved, let's dig deep further on the mystery of the great grace as contains within the above text.

(1.) The great vigour, spirit and courage, with which they published and avowed this doctrine of resurrection. They  did it not softly and diffidently, but with liveliness and definite resolution, as those that were themselves abundantly satisfied of the truth of it and earnestly desired that others should be so too.

(2.) The miracles which they wrought to confirm their doctrine. With works of great power, they gave witness to the resurrection of Christ. God Himself, in them, bearing witness too.

(3.) The beauty of the Lord our God shone upon them, and all their performances.

Great grace was upon them all, not only all the apostles, but all the believers.

The Greek word "charis" means grace that had something great in it that is magnificent and very extraordinary was upon them all.

I perceive  that Christ poured out abundance of grace upon them, such that qualified them for great exploit and services, by endowing them with great power (Luke 24:48,49). It came upon them from above.

There were evident fruits of this grace in their lives, all they said and did, such put an honour upon them and recommended them to the favour of God, as being in His sight of great price.

Everyone saw a beauty and excellency in them and respected them because of the great grace that was upon them.

Personal Confession: Father, let the beauty and excellency of your great grace be evident upon my life this year and beyond in the name of Jesus Christ.
