DAILY GRACE THURS. 31ST AUG. 2017 ORDINARY MEN WITH A DIFFERENCE ACTS 4:13 "When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus." Christ's disciples and especially John and Peter were ordinary men. They didn't go to any special school neither were they renown or highly placed people. They were only common men with no special skill apart (from fishing) but with great impact that they have been with Jesus and this showed forth in their lives as a result of the exemplary lifestyle they were living. People saw unusual courage from non-academic exposed and common people like them. Imagine the unschooled one to preach to people and three thousand and also five thousand souls of believers been added to the Church. How much more you that has ND,NCE, HND, B.Sc, M.Sc, etc. Yet, you are still timid to witness Christ Jesus to even one soul since you believed, it is because you have not met Christ personally. There's no notable, personal encounter that you have had with Him. This is not about the fact that you have been a worker in your Church for years. If you are genuinely saved, you ought to make a difference in your world and advance the Kingdom of God. DAILY GRACE WEDS. 30TH AUG. 2017 CONSIDER MINE ENEMIES PSALMS 25: 19 "Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred." May the Lord grant a quick consideration to every opposition to your promotion in Jesus' name. Let's examine four things the Psalmist mentioned by way of plea to enforce his petitions, and refer himself and them to God’s consideration: 1.) He pleads God’s mercy: You can also plead for His mercy as well because men of the greatest merits would be undone if they had nothing to do with a God of infinite mercies. 2.) He pleads his own misery: You can also plead to God for whatever affliction, pain, and distress you may be passing through presently, especially the troubles of your heart, and all that have made you the object of ridicule. 3.) He pleaded the iniquity of his enemies: You can also call upon the Lord to consider all your perceived enemies, how cruel they are, and deliver you out of their hands. 4.) He pleaded his own integrity: Though he had owned himself guilty before God, and had confessed his sins against him, yet, as to his enemies, he had the testimony of his conscience that he had done them no wrong, which was his comfort when they hated him with cruel hatred; and he prayed that God of all grace might preserve him. DAVID'S SAKE

DAILY GRACE TUES. 29TH AUG. 2017 DAVID'S SAKE 1 KINGS 15:4 "Nevertheless for David's sake did the LORD his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem" From the above text, God of all grace thus set up David's son after him, and also established Jerusalem for his sake. David might have a lamp, pursuant to the divine ordination of a lamp for his anointed, Ps. 132:17. Jerusalem might be established, not only that the honours put upon it in David’s and Solomon’s time might be preserved to it, but that it might be reserved to the honours designed for it in after-times. The character here given of David is very great—that he did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, but the exception is very remarkable—save only in the matter of Uriah, including both his murder and the debauching of his wife. That was a bad matter to avoid in life. DAILY GRACE MON. 28TH AUG. 2017 JUDGE PROPHECY 1 COR. 14:3 "But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort." May the Lord endow you with discerning spirit to judge prophecy rightly in Jesus' name. The ecstatic utterance of the Spirit through the mind and lips of a man is prevalent in our days now. Thus, believers in Christ are not meant to despise the gift and operation of prophecy, but you must hold fast to that which is good and recognize the imperfect channels through which it comes. The aim of prophetic utterance is very clear here: a) Edification: The building of the hearer in faith, love and Spirit. b) Exhortation: The urging of the hearer to press forward and toward the mark with greater love and spiritual activity. c) Comfort: The beginning of solace and lasting consolation to the weary, the buffeted, and the afflicted. DAILY GRACE SUN. 27TH AUG. 2017 PRAISE HIM, LIVING SOUL PSALMS 30:9 “What is gained if I am silenced, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it proclaim your faithfulness? The main purpose God created mankind is to take pleasure in the work of His hands (man). He created all things for His pleasure alone. It was His great delight to make man like His own image. Gen.1:27. Man can only praise, worship, adorn, honour and celebrates God of all grace while he is still alive. The moment the breathe of God leaves his nostrils, he becomes a dead man, a non living thing that can't move, talk more of worshipping God. Regardless of the present situation you have found yourself, still praise Him, worship Him, adore Him. Note, whenever you praise Him, He will raise or lift you up and make you a praise among the nations. Beloved, praise is the key, you might have tried many other means; prayers, fasting, seed sowing, alms giving, etc and nothing seem to work. Try aggressive and total praise and worship unto the Lord with great sincerity and simplicity of heart. You will be glad you did. Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honour and power and strength belong to our God forever and forever. Amen! " All the angels standing around the throne and all the elders and the four living beings. And they fell face down before the throne and worshipped God. The purpose of these twenty four characters, the angels and the four living beings is to praise the living God. They do so all the time without ceasing, relenting, tired or feeble to praise the One who lives eternally. For this purpose, God of all grace also made us in His image so we can show forth His glory and worship Him. He expects us to live a life of total worship to Him, everywhere and at every time. For He inhabits the praises of His people. They said, "so be it"-meaning Amen. They returned all the blessings (earthly and eternal ones), glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honour and power and strength to our One and ever loving and living God. Beloved, What will you make up your mind to do now? Won't you join the host of angels, twenty four elders and the four living beings to give praise to the eternal and covenant keeping God. DAILY GRACE FRI. 25TH AUG. 2017 PURSUE SOLID FOOD 2 HEBREW 5:14 "But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." Having shared previously that you will never be able to eat solid spiritual food and understand the deeper things of the word of His grace until you become desperate in your spirit to pursue strong meat. Let's observe the following fundamentals of strong meat. (1.) There are always different Christian stages of growth; new born babes, children, young men/women, and adult (fathers/mothers). (2.) Every true Christian, having received a principle of spiritual life from God of all grace, stands in need of nourishment to preserve that life. (3.) The word of grace is the food and nourishment to the life of grace: As new-born babes desire the sincere milk of the word that you may grow thereby. (4.) It is the wisdom of ministers to rightly divide the word of truth, and to give to every one his portion—milk to babes, and strong meat to those of full age. (5.) There are spiritual senses as well as those that are natural. There is also a spiritual eye, a spiritual appetite, a spiritual taste; the soul has its sensations as well as the body; these are much depraved and lost by sin, but they are recovered by grace. (6.) It is by use and exercise of these senses are improved, made more quick and strong to taste the sweetness of what is good and true, and the bitterness of what is false and evil. Not only reason and faith, but spiritual sense, will teach men to distinguish between what is pleasing and what is provoking to God of all grace, between what is helpful and what is hurtful to our own souls. Friend, you must pursue the strong meat of the word of His grace if you don't want to remain a baby Christian. Desire to grow daily in the Lord. Enjoy your day! Solid food can also be termed strong meat, and you know it takes a great deal of effort to masticate a piece of strong meat. Also, the kind of energy you possess after having a solid food is quite different from milky or light meal. There is strong meat for those that are of full age, i.e those that are matured spiritually not by numbers of years you have been attending church or your chronological age. The deeper mysteries of His grace belong to those that are of a higher class in the school of grace, who have learned the first principles and well improved them; so that by reason of use or practice they have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil, duty and sin, truth and error as they walk in Him daily. You will never be able to eat solid spiritual food, and understand the deeper things of the word of His grace until you become desperate in your spirit to pursue strong meat. To be continued. DAILY GRACE WEDS. 23RD AUG. 2017 MORE EARNEST HEED HEBREWS 2:1 "Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away." To give the most earnest heed to all the word of grace discoveries and directions is of the greatest importance. This is to read them carefully, frequently, to meditate on them closely, and to allow the Word to mix with faith within your heart. Beloved, you must embrace them in your heart and affection, retain them in your memories, and finally regulate your words and actions according to their dictates. Drifting into errors is a great loss one may sustain if one does not take more earnest heed to the things which you have heard to practice them. When you have received gospel truths into your heart, you are in danger of letting them slip off if fail to take more earnest heed. Your mind and memory are like a leaky vessel, they do not without much care retain what is poured into them as you think, this proceeds from the corruption of our natures, the enmity and subtlety of Satan (he steals away the word), from the entanglements, deceitfulness and snares of the world, the thorns that choke the good seed. Those, meet with an inconceivable loss who let gospel truths, which they had received, slip out of their hearts have lost a treasure far better than thousands of gold and silver; the seed is lost, their time and pains in hearing is lost, and their hopes of a good harvest lost; all is lost, if the gospel be lost. If you do not pay a well attention, you shall not long retain the word of God in your heart; inattentive hearers will soon become forgetful hearers.The dreadful effect of drifting into errors can be so disastrous and eternally fatal. DAILY GRACE TUES. 22ND AUG. 2017 LIVE BY GOD'S WORD MATHEW 4:4 "Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'” God wants all of His children to live by the words that He has spoken. He does not want us to live by sight, nor by bread that we feed on daily rather, than on the word of God. In order to be acquainted with the words that have come out of God's mouth, you need to do a personal study of the word of God. This is because it is the spiritual food for your soul. As the physical food is to the body, so is the word of God to our spirit man. You are expected to feed on the word of God, so as to nourished and renew the inner man on daily basis. Rom. 12:1-29, 1Pet. 2:2. Consider the following if you want to live by the word of God. 1. Read the Bible consistently. Isa. 34:16a: This is the least thing you can do with the word of God. It should be done daily, prayerfully and consistently. 2. Study the word of God 2 Tim. 2:15: This is another level of experience or exposure to show yourself approved. You move from the level of reading to digging deep into the scriptures, line upon line, precept upon precept. 3. Memorize the scriptures. Ps. 119:11, 1 Cor. 15:2): This is committing the scripture to memory and it also leads to confessing what you have memorised. It is what you confess that brings your deliverance. Ps. 107:2. 4. Meditate on the word day and night. Jos. 1:8, 1 Tim. 4:15: This help you to have a mental picture of what you memorized. 5. Practice the word of God. James 1:22, 23, Phil. 4:9: It is not enough to read, study, memorise and meditate the scripture and not practice it. It is a mere wasted effort and exercise in futility. God wants His children to be the doers of His word, it is in doing so that your spiritual growth and renewal lies. May God help you in Jesus' name Enjoy your day! DAILY GRACE MON.21ST AUG. 2017 SPIRIT OF FAITH 2 COR. 4:13 " We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak" May the Lord of host baptize you with the Spirit of faith this day to overcome every challenges of life in Jesus' name. Faith kept the early church from fainting and becoming lukewarm, that faith which is of the operation of the Spirit, the same faith by which the saints of old did and suffered such great things. The great grace of faith is a sovereign, cordial, and an effectual antidote against fainting-fits in troublous times. The spirit of faith will go far to bear up the spirit of a man under his infirmities; and as the Apostle had David’s example to imitate, who said (Ps. 116:10), I have believed, and therefore have I spoken, so he leaves us his example to imitate as a believer in Christ today. We also believe, says he, and therefore speak. As we receive help and encouragement from the good words and examples of others, so we should be careful to give a good example to others as well. Friend, you need the spirit of faith to deal and handle some deadly challenges in life, even when such challenges tends to be terrific in nature, you must constantly remember that the God of all grace has not given you the spirit of fear, but the Spirit of power, and faith. DAILY GRACE SUN.20TH AUG. 2017 MAINTAIN GOOD WORKS TITUS 3:14 "And let us also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful." Good work does not save anyone, however, you're expected to maintain good works of faith after you have been saved by grace. This act of maintaining good works of faith is vital to bring glory to your heavenly Father, who closely watches over your new life in Him. Your good works can only be of earthly and eternal values if your life is genuinely rooted in Him, because your good works will not make eternal impact if you have not surrendered your will power and life to God of all grace through Jesus Christ. Friend, your faith in Christ Jesus without maintaining good works of faith always is questionable, and it is simply described as dead faith. The first good works of faith that God of all grace desires to see you actively engage in daily is the good works of evangelism. Since you have been saved, rise for the salvation of others. DAILY GRACE SAT.19TH AUG. 2017 FOLLOW GOOD ONLY 3 JOHN 1:11 "Dear friend, don't let this bad example influence you. Follow only what is good. Remember that those who do good prove that they are God's children, and those who do evil presence be that they do not know God" Beloved, only follow a good example and do good always, and never be influenced by the evil acts of others whose conscience has been seared. Don't pay evil for evil, rather overcome evil with good works. Although, this is not an easy task on the flesh, yet the Holy Spirit energises the will of our heart to do that which is good both in the sight of God and men. Jesus also said that love your enemy and pray for them and He was only passing the message of paying good for evil not evil with evil. It's only through the genuine love of God of all grace in your heart you can achieve this. You must allow the love of God to take root in and rule your heart, so that good works can emanate from you to others. Beloved, this act of doing good always come as a result of total surrender to the will and work of the Holy Spirit within you. For a carnal man can never please God, doing good always comes with the strength of God of all grace to overcome every temptation to do evil in life. DISCOURAGE HERESY

DAILY GRACE FRI. 18TH AUG. 2017 DISCOURAGE HERESY 2 JOHN 1:10 " If someone comes to your meeting and does not teach the truth about Christ, don't invite him into your house or encourage him in any way." Jesus Christ declared Himself as the truth (John14:6). Anyone who teaches or preaches about Him must ensure that he preaches Him as the only truth and not one of the truth. At any point in time where there is deviation from Him as the true and the Holy One-then heresy comes to play. You must be aware as well that anyone who encourages such preacher of heresy becomes a partner in his evil work. (2Jh. 1:11). God of all grace does not want you to participate in the evil deed of false teacher, thus, you must stand for the truth. Let's consider the right dispositions that the God of all grace wants you to have; 1.) Don't befriend such people nor partner with such preacher of false doctrine because they don't stand for the truth. 2.) Don't allow them enter into your house and heart. There should be no fellowship between you and unfruitful work of darkness. 3.) Don't motivate them to continue in the heresy. Rather sharply discourage such evil act of teaching or preaching heresy. Remember, heresy is anything less than the truth. 4.) Confront and correct them in love as space permit. 5) Avoid them like plague. You don't have to hear everybody talk, its better not to hear somethings some times, than to give room for such and then allow evil seed of heresy to be planted in your heart. Rather, avoid them with the wisdom of the God of all grace! May the Lord help you not to teach, preach or live heretic life in Jesus' name. Enjoy your day! DAILY GRACE THURS.17TH AUG. 2017 BEWARE OF SPOILERS 2 COLOSSIANS 2:8 "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." Arrow of the spoiler assigned against you shall backfire in Jesus' name. Let's quickly examine the activities of the spoiler in this our day. 1.) They are often on mission to corrupt, capture, hypnotize your mind, and alienate it from God with the philosophy of men. 2.) The spoiler also targets to weaken the boldness of your faith in Christ Jesus. 3.) They are full of shallow, wrong and ungodly thoughts or ideas. 4.) They focus so much on themselves rather than Christ's Word. 5.) They are teachers with devil inspired schisms, and tradition of men. 6.) Spoilers are often loaded with empty deceits for dishonest gains. In addition, destiny spoilers often seek to capture your attention with high sounding nonsense motivations and quotable quotes that come from human thinking and spiritual powers of this world. Friend, you must beware of these spoilers of destiny in your journey on earth here by being rooted in the grace of God, focus on the Spirit of grace, study the word of His grace, build up your most holy faith, and resist the destiny spoilers prayerfully. DAILY GRACE WEDS.16TH AUG. 2017 BEWARE OF SPOILERS COLOSSIANS 2:8 "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." God of all grace shall deliver you from the traps of deadly spoiler assigned against you in Jesus' name. The fair warning given in the text above is to beware of danger that the spoiler can cause to your life as you maintain a close walk in Him. Failure to heed the warning can give room for any man to spoil you through philosophy and empty deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the god of this world, and not after Grace (Jesus Christ). There is a philosophy which is a noble exercise of our reasonable faculties, and highly serviceable to religion. It is such a study of the works of God's grace that lead to the knowledge of God of all grace and confirms our faith in Him. However, there is also a philosophy which is vain and deceitful, which is prejudicial to Christian lifestyle, and sets up the wisdom of man in competition with the wisdom of God. And while it pleases men’s fancies to ruin their faith in God. This philosophy only have an empty deception to hypnotize the people and often with a cheating appearance of knowledge.  It is basically after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the quotable quotes, motivational teaching with high sounding nuggets: this plainly reflects upon the Jewish pedagogy or economy, as well as the Pagan learning. Friend, beware of those who pin their faith on other men’s sleeves, and walk in the way of the world, have turned away from following after Christ Jesus. The agenda of the spoiler is to use those philosophical and high sounding teaching to alienate your mind from Christ Jesus. BEWARE OF FORGETFULNESS

DAILY GRACE TUES.15TH AUG. 2017 BEWARE OF FORGETFULNESS DEUT. 6 :12 "Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage." A caution is given from the above scripture not to forget God of all grace in a day of promotion, prosperity and plenty. Then beware, when you liest safe and soft, lest you forget God of all grace in your conduct, character and commitment. Note that in a day of prosperity, one may be in great danger of forgetting God and His word, your dependence upon Him, your need of Him, and your obligations to Him. I often pray against this temptation (Prov. 30:9) because no man is immuned to such tendency. Therefore there is need of great care and caution at such a time, and a strict watch over your own heart. Then beware! Bind the words of God for a sign upon your heart, and hand, for this helps to prevent you from forgetting God of all grace when you settle in your Canaan. Forget not your deliverance out of Egypt of darkness, shame, delay, frustration, failure and disappointment but look to the rock out of which you were hewn from. When your latter end has greatly increased, and your new beginning and breakthrough overflowing, remember the smallness of thy beginnings. Beloved, engage the carefulness and watchfulness against the deceitfulness of your own very heart to forget God so soon in the days of your breakthrough. May the Lord help you. Enjoy your day! DAILY GRACE MON. 14TH AUG. 2017 DIVINE PROMOTION PSALMS 75 :6 "For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south." Exaltation will come for you! As you trust the power of God of all grace this week, your exaltation will come! To God alone David would give the praise of his advancement in life, having his power from God of all grace, and his promotion from shepherding of flock to kingship and power come from nowhere on earth, but only from God of all grace. He promotes one and debases another. Your promotion in life depends not upon the will of the people, nor does your lifting anchor on the will of the prince, but both on the will of God of all grace, who has all hearts in His hands. Therefore, if you must look for exaltation or you are in pursuit of preferment,  you must begin aright by trusting in the God of all grace. You are not to look for the fountain of human power for promotion because promotion comes not from the east, nor from the west, nor from the desert, i.e neither from the desert on the north of Jerusalem nor from that on the South, your breakthrough is not from abroad but from above.  You cannot gain divine promotion either by the wisdom or wealth of the men. You don't need to be given to astrological power, stargazers, especially the sun-their god. No, says David, it comes neither from the East nor from the West, neither from the rising nor from the setting of such a planet, nor from the South, nor from the rising of the sun or any star in the mid-heaven but from the God of all grace. DAILY GRACE SUN. 13TH AUG. 2017 THE GOD OF THIS AGE 2 CORI. 4 :4 " Whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who, who is the image of God, should shine on them." Deep research and observation has shown the main cause why some people find it difficult to embrace and also live by the truth of the gospel of grace. Such men are under the influence and power of the devil, who is the god of this age, and the prince of this world, because of the great interest he has in this world, the homage that is paid to him by many, and the great sway that he bears in this world, by divine permission, and in the hearts of his subjects. And as he is the prince of darkness, and ruler of the darkness of this world, so he darkens the understandings of men, increases their prejudices, and supports his interest by keeping them in the dark perpetually, blinding their minds with ignorance, and error, and prejudices, that they should not behold the light of the gospel of grace. Christ’s design by His gospel is to make a glorious discovery of God of all grace to the minds of men on earth. Thus, as the image of God, He demonstrates the power and wisdom of God of all grace. He also bestowed the grace and mercy of God for your salvation, but, the design of the devil is to keep men in ignorance forever; and, when he cannot keep the light of the gospel out of the world, he makes it his great business to keep it out of the hearts of men and also makes the gospel of grace to be veiled to those who are perishing, making it difficult for them to renounced the hidden things of dishonesty and shame. Friend, whatever making it difficult for you to maintain a stedfast adherence to the truths of the gospel is basically from the god of this age. DAILY GRACE SAT. 12TH AUG. 2017 HOLY GHOST BAPTISM 2 ACTS 2:4 "All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues" All the believers that waited, thirsted and hungered for the Holy Ghost baptism received Him with the evidence of speaking in tongues. As a born again child of God of all grace, do not allow the devil to deceive you that this experience is only meant for some set of believers. You must know for sure that it is the seal of God of all grace upon your life as God's property. There are lots of benefits attached to this awesome encounter and experience. Some of them are listed below; 1.) It brings a further and strong assurance of your salvation (new birth experience) . Rom. 8:15-16. 2.) It brings a further crucifixion of your flesh. Luke 3:16, Rom. 6:6. 3.) It brings the Scripture to the practical life. 4.) The encounter gives more power to your prayers. Rom. 8:26. 5.) It opens the believers eyes to the reality of Satan and his power. Eph. 6:12 5.) It brings a holy concern into your heart for others that are not yet saved. 6.) HOLY GHOST BAPTISM

DAILY GRACE FRI. 11TH AUG. 2017 HOLY GHOST BAPTISM ACTS 1:8 "But when the Holy Spirit has come up on you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere- in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth". It crucial to note that if there's no power from the Holy Ghost, there's no how witnessing Christ with boldness will be possible anywhere and everywhere. The baptism of the Holy Ghost is the second encounter with the God of all grace in which a believer in Christ Jesus begins to receive the supernatural power of the Holy Ghost into his/her life. This promised Holy Ghost baptism is for all believers in Christ Jesus and you must hunger, thirst and wait for the infilling. The Holy Ghost is the enabling Spirit that empowers believers to witness with great effect or impact for Christ Jesus. He is the Spirit of God that convicts sinners of their sins and bring them to the point of total surrender to God through His Son Jesus Christ. Let's consider two common baptism spoken of in the Scripture and they are; 1.) Water baptism by immersion(baptizo): This takes place in flowing water or river which publicly display your allegiance to Christ Jesus. a) This involves the penitent believers. Acts 2:38. b) Water is used as baptismal element Acts 8:36-38. c) The baptizer is a man (God's representative e.g Pastor, Evangelist etc). d) It produces the miracle of salvation. Gal. 3:17. 2.) The Holy Ghost baptism: This manifests with the evidence or sign of speaking in tongues.Acts 8:14-17; 2:4. a) The Holy Ghost is the baptismal element. Mark 1:8. b) The baptizer is Christ Jesus Himself. Matt.3:11 c) The purpose is to endow believers in Christ with the supernatural power from above.Luke 24:49 d) The experience is often accompanied with spiritual gifts and power. 1 Cor. 12:4-13. "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him" As you have received the Lord Jesus Christ into your life, you must be willing to give attention to fellowship with God of all grace and other believers in Christ Jesus. Attending services every week should not seem difficult to you as a child of God because Jesus Himself attended services (in the temple) every week despite the fact that He is the perfect Son of God. Luke 4:16 The Berean Christians also had fellowship with one another in order to strengthen their faith in the Lord and this attitude should be emulated by all and sundry who has received Christ Jesus as their Lord and personal. Some Benefits of attending fellowship include: 1.To know other believers and make new friends who will encourage you in your new found faith. 2.The love of God will be extended to you via the avenue of the Church. 3. You will grow in grace and in the knowledge of God of all grace like never before, you can't if you were on your own. 4. To have spiritual home atmosphere that you can call "my home". 5. You will be much more fully covered by the prayers and counselling of others spirit-filled believer. 6. Your faith will increase and grow deeper as you sharpen it with others. DAILY GRACE WEDS. 9TH AUG. 2017 THE LORD EXALTED JOSHUA JOSHUA 4: 14 "On that day the Lord exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they feared him, as they had feared Moses, all the days of his life." As the Lord exalted Joshua in the sight of all, God of all grace shall exalt you this day in Jesus' name. Those that honour God of all grace will definitely be honored, and when He decide to magnify a man, as He had said earlier that He would magnify Joshua (Josh. 3:7). He will effectually do it without any hindrance. Yet it was not for Joshua's sake only that he was thus magnified, and to put him in a capacity of doing so much more service to Israel, as result of this act from the Lord, all the Israelites feared him as they feared Moses. The best and surest way to command the respect of inferiors, and to gain their reverence and observance, is not by blustering and threatening, and carrying it with a high hand, but by maturity, holiness, love, and all possible indications of a constant regard to their welfare, and to God's will and honour. Those that are sanctified are truly magnified, and are worthy of double honour. Friend, Joshua's reputation for handling his responsibilities in God's way brought him greater glory than if he had been a hero in a 'superpower' nation. FINISHED PLANS

DAILY GRACE TUES. 8TH AUG. 2017 FINISHED PLANS 1 KINGS 6: 38 "And in the eleventh year, in the month of Bul, which is the eighth month, the house was finished in all its details and according to all its plans. So he was seven years in building it." This eight day of the eight month shall bring grace for completion in your life in Jesus' name. The time spent for building this temple was seven years and a half from the founding to the finishing of it. Considering the vastness and elegance of the building, and the many appurtenances to it which were necessary to fit it for use, it was done in the eighth month. Solomon was earnest in building it, had enough money, had nothing to divert his focus from it, and many hands were made to work quick. He finished it according to all its plans, and with all the ordinances thereof, not only built the place, but set forward the work for which it was built for. Let's consider what the temple exactly typifies: 1.) Christ Jesus is the true temple, (John 2:21). God Himself prepared Jesus' body (Heb. 10:5). In Him dwelt the fullness of the Godhead, and through Him you have access with confidence to God of all grace. 2.) Every believer in Christ Jesus is a living temple, in whom the Spirit of God dwells (1 Cor. 3:16). You are not only wonderfully made by the divine providence, but more wonderfully made anew by the divine grace. 3.) The gospel church is the mystical temple; it grows to a holy temple in the Lord (Eph. 2:21), enriched and beautified with the gifts and graces of the Spirit, as Solomon’s temple with gold and precious stones. 4.) Heaven is the everlasting temple. There the church will be fixed, and no longer movable. (Rev. 21:21). DIVINE RELIEVE

DAILY GRACE MON. 7TH AUG. 2017 DIVINE RELIEVE PSALMS 4:1 "Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer." God of all grace shall grant you divine relieve over every painful distress in Jesus' name. As David addressed himself to God of of all grace in the light of the scripture above; “Hear me for thy mercy-sake” is our best plea. Two things here you can plead for before God of all grace in order to secure divine relieve; 1.) You are the God of my righteousness; not only a righteous God to you, but the author of your righteous dispositions, who has by His grace made you a righteous man. Whenever men condemn you unjustly, this should be your comfort, It is God that justifies and He is the God of a believer’s righteousness. 2.) You have formerly enlarged me when I was in distress, enlarged my heart in holy joy and comfort under my distresses, enlarge my condition by bringing me out of my distresses; therefore now, Lord, have mercy upon me, and hear me as said by David. The experience you have had of God’s goodness to you in enlarging you when you have been in distress is not only a great encouragement to your faith and hope for the future, but a good plea with God in prayer. For You are God and you change not; your work is perfect and you work sign and wonder to behold. This should be your confession when seeking divine relieve from any challenges of life. SINFUL DESIRES

DAILY GRACE SUN. 6TH AUG. 2017 SINFUL DESIRES 1 PETER 2:11 "Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul" The admonition to abstain from sinful desires and worldly lust is something very crucial for us to consider because we are in the world that is full of both godly and ungodly desires. Also, it is quite important because sinful desires wage war against our souls. But God of all grace has declared that all souls are His, and every soul that sins shall die. Eze.18:4. Every believer in Christ Jesus needs to renew his or her mind daily with the word of God (Rom. 12:1-2) in order to gain mastery over the sinful desires. The moment spiritual renewal is not taking place, the mind will be defiled, polluted and corrupted. Abstinence from evil or lustful desires to bow to the idol of sin will yield a painful reward. The Holy Spirit has been given to every believer in Christ to teach, help, comfort, counsel, guide, lead and be with you forever. And through His enabling power, you can ultimately gain victory over the sinful desires that often threaten your identity in Christ. HOLD ON TO YOUR FAITH!

DAILY GRACE SAT. 5TH AUG. 2017 HOLD ON TO YOUR FAITH! 1 TIM.1:19 "Holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith". Beloved, the faith of a man is a vital part of his believe in God. When a man fails to hold on tenaciously to the profession of his faith, both in good, bad and hard time; he is already failing and making shipwreck of the faith. Holding on to the faith and a good conscience as believer in Christ works hand in hand. A good conscience is a conscience that is settled and stable in the word and promises of God, abiding in hope and enduring the hard times. Patiently waiting upon Him. You can not claim to hold on to your profession of faith and have a bad or seared conscience. A bad or seared conscience can not hold on tenaciously to the faith. The consequence of not holding on to the faith is usually a shipwreck (i.e an irretrievable loss). You must ensure that your faith does not shake nor get lost whether in good times or bad times. Things that make you to hold on to your faith. A) Your knowledge in the word of God. B) The confession of your mouth. C) The constant study and practice of the word of His grace. D) Walking with the people of faith. E) Building up your most holy faith by praying in the Holy Ghost F) Exposing your spirit man to the sound word of God. Enjoy your day! LOOK UP TO HIM 2

DAILY GRACE FRI. 4TH AUG. 2017 LOOK UP TO HIM 2 PSALM 5: 6 "My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up." As you look up to God of all grace, you will not be put to shame over that situation in Jesus' name. Let's press further to unravel the remaining two things David promises here, which you can emulate as a Christian: (3.) That he will have his eye single and his heart intent in the duty: I will direct my prayer, as a marksman directs his arrow to the white; with such a fixedness and steadiness of mind, you should address yourself to God. Or as you direct a letter to a friend at such a place so must you direct your prayers to God as your Father in heaven via Lord Jesus, the great Mediator, and then they will be sure not to miscarry. All your prayers must be directed to God of all grace; his honour and glory must be aimed at as your highest end in all your prayers. Let your first petition be; Hallowed, glorified, by thy name, and then you may be sure of the same gracious answer to it that was given to Christ Himself: I have glorified it, and I will glorify it yet again. (4.) That he will patiently wait for an answer of peace: “I will look up, will look after my prayers, and hear what God the Lord will speak (Ps. 85:8; Hab. 2:1), that, if he grants what I ask, I may be thankful-if he denies it, I may be patient-if he defers, I may continue to pray and wait and may not faint.” Friend, you must look up to Him, or look out, as he that has shot an arrow looks to see how near it has come to the mark. Thus, praying, waiting, as the lame man looked steadfastly on Peter and John and your joy will come speedily and unhindered in Jesus' name (Acts 3:4). Enjoy your day! LOOK UP TO HIM!

DAILY GRACE THURS. 3RD AUG. 2017 LOOK UP TO HIM! PSALMS 5: 3 "My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up." God will look upon your requests as look up to Him today over that matter in the name of Jesus Christ. Looking unto the Lord is the paramount decision a believer in Christ must take first early in the morning. Peradventure you went to bed last night with bunch of regrets and disappointments, you should be smart than the devil by shifting your focus from those issues and heartily look up to the God of all grace when awake. There are four things David promises here, which you can imbibe as believer in Christ: (1.) That he will pray, that he will make conscience of praying, and make a daily business. Others may live without prayer, but I will pray. Others pray to strange gods, and expect relief from them, but to You, to only You will I pray. That is all l hear David was saying! (2.) That he will pray in the morning. His praying voice shall be heard then, and then shall his prayer be directed unto God of all grace. He did prayed morning, noon and evening. Morning prayer should be your duty and daily business, because you are fit for such prayer when you are in the most fresh mood, and lively, and composed frame of mind, got clear of trouble of the last day and not yet filled with the hustling of the day. You need to pray at such time considering the dangers, evil and temptations of the day which you may be exposed to, and by faith and such prayer to fetch in fresh supplies of grace for the fruitful day ahead. Friend, have you been skipping your morning prayer before leaving home for work? If No, thumbs up! But if Yes, be desperate and determined to make adjustment now because God want to hear your voice in the early hour of the day before you start speaking to your world. To be continued.... HIDING PLACE

DAILY GRACE WED. 2ND AUG. 2017 HIDING PLACE PSALMS 119: 114 "You are my hiding place, and my shield; I hope in Your word." The Lord of host shall be your refuge as you make progress this month, and God of all grace shall protect you and your household from trouble in Jesus' name. God's care to protect and defend you is sure. No matter the malicious threat of the enemies against you. You are my hiding place and my shield, David opined even when Saul pursued him, As a place for shelter, even in war He guarded him as his shield. God of all grace was both to him, a hiding-place to preserve him from danger and a shield to preserve him from danger, his life from death and his soul from sin. As long as you align yourself and hope in His word this season, you are safe under God’s protection. He shall be your strength, shield to quench every fiery dart against you. Your confidence in the divine protection that will make you affirm daily “I hope in Your word" Friend, those who depend on God’s promise shall have the benefit of His power and be taken under his special protection.
