DAILY GRACE
SAT. 30TH APRIL, 2016
TOPIC: GOD DELIVERS
TEXT:1 Samuel 23:14
   
  Happy weekend today. God shall do you good in Jesus name.
Today by the grace of God, we will look at the life of David and Saul. How the Lord really delivered David from the attack of his enemy (Saul).      
  Saul loved David after he defeated the Philistine, until the women of the city sang the praise of David as against Saul. Hence, this was where envy rose up from Saul's heart against David (1 Sam 18:3-8).
 And after this time, the spirit of God departed from Saul, the king  and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him. Saul sought to kill David many times. But, God was with David (this was after Prophet Samuel had secretly anointed David as the King of Israel) (1 Sam. 16:11-18).    What really caught my attention here is the fact that, Saul really tactically sought to slay the life of David after David had flee from his presence many times). Look at what the text says, "And David abode in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.

For the sake of Saul, David lives in caves and wilderness, had many restless nights, was troubled emotionally and psychologically. (1 Sam. 22:1). Many times hungry and homeless, still the Lord kept his life from the hands of his enemy that kept seeking after his soul daily. But, our Sovereign Lord did not deliver him into his hands. It is my prayer today, that the Lord Will also keep watch over you and will not deliver your soul into the hands of your enemies.
For except the Lord keeps the  city, they watch in vain that keeps it (Ps. 127:1). May the Lord keep and preserve you from every evil and from all that seek after your soul in the name of Jesus.

SIGN FOR GOOD

DAILY GRACE

TEXT: PSALM 86: 17

Thank God for another weekend of supernatural favour for you and your family.
God of all grace will make His miracles of grace to be evident in your life in Jesus name.
God of all grace is set to show you a sign of His goodwill, goodness and favour,
that those who hate and conspired against you this year may see it and be ashamed, because l am certain that the Lord, God of all grace will help and comfort you on every sides as you abide in the center of His will for your life.
Beloved, take time today to ask God in faith like David did in our text today, and you will see the results and testimonies that will be your portion in Jesus Christ name.
David prayed that God would put a reputation on him: Show me a token for good; make it to appear to others as well as to myself that You are doing me good, and designing further good for me. Let me have some unquestionable illustrious instances of your favour to me, that those who hate me may see it, and be ashamed of their enmity towards me. As they will have reasons to be when they perceive that You, Lord, has helped me and comforted me. And that therefore they have been striving against God, opposing one whom he owns, and that they have been striving in vain to ruin and vex one whom God himself has undertaken to help and comfort.
The joy of the saints shall be the shame of their persecutors.
Note, not only does David ask for God to work in his life, he asked God of all grace that the work be so evident in his life that it would be a signal to his enemies that God was with him, and thus against them.

POUR OUT YOUR HEART

DAILY GRACE
THUR. 28TH APRIL, 2016
TOPIC: POUR OUT YOUR HEART
TEXT: PSALM 62: 8

Top of the day to you.You will not miss God as your refuge this year  and all your expectations will not be cut short in Jesus name.
The Psalmist offer us counsels to wait upon God, as he did in the above text.
Firstly, to whom did he give this good counsel?
All people including all the believers, shall be welcomed to trust in God, for He is the confidence of all the ends of the earth (Ps. 65:5).
The house of Israel are specially engaged and invited to trust in God, for He is the God of Israel.
 This good counsel is golden and not temporal.
(1.) To confide in God: “Trust in Him; deal with Him, and be willing to deal upon trust, depend upon Him to perform all those things He has promised you, upon His wisdom and goodness, His power and promise, His providence and grace. Do this at all times not at some times or few moment.”
We must have an habitual confidence in God always, and live a life of dependence upon Him. We must so trust in Him at all times and not at any time to put that confidence in ourselves, or in any creature and we must have an actual confidence in God upon all occasions,and situations. Trust in Him upon every emergency, to guide us when we are in doubt, to protect us when we are in danger, to supply us when we are in want, to strengthen us for every good word and work.
(2.) To converse with God:
Pour out your heart before Him. The expression seems to allude to the pouring out of the drink-offerings before the Lord. When we make a penitent confession of sin; our hearts are therein poured out before God (1 Sam. 7:6). But here it is meant of prayer which  is the pouring out of the heart before God. We must lay our worries, petition, grievances before Him, offer up our desires to Him with all humble freedom, and then entirely refer ourselves to His disposal, patiently submitting our wills to His own- this is pouring out our hearts, beloved!

Secondly, what a wonderful encouragement he gave us to take this good counsel that God is a refuge for us, not only my refuge (Ps. 62:7), but a refuge for us all. even as many as will; even to Him and take shelter in Him.

Friends, you should  take heed of misplacing your confidence in which, as much as in any thing, the heart is deceitful (Jer. 17:5-9). Those that trust in God truly (Ps. 62:1) will trust in Him only (Ps. 62:5. 1). Let us not trust in the men of this world, for they are broken reeds, and then be desperate to pour out your heart unto God daily.

NO WISDOM

DAILY GRACE

TOPIC: NO WISDOM!
TEXT: PROV. 21: 30

God of all grace will cause the wisdom, and counsel of the wicked against you to perish in Jesus name.
Truly there is no wisdom, scheme, counsel or plan that can be devised by any man to alter the eternal plan of God of all grace for your life and ministry.
Having established this fact from the scripture above, you must also realised that God is able to bring the counsel of your enemies to nothing against you (Ps. 33:10).
 There can be no success against God, and therefore they must never act in opposition to him, in contempt of His commands, or in contradiction to His counsels.
Though your enemy think they have wisdom, and understanding, and counsel. The best politics and politicians, on their side, yet, if it be against the Lord's purpose, it cannot prosper, it shall not prevail and it must fail (2 Sam. 17:14).
He that sits in heaven laughs at men’s projects against Him and His anointed (Ps. 2:1-6). Those that are fighting against God's plan for you are preparing shame and ruin for themselves without remedy. Whoever makes war with the Lamb, He will certainly overcome them (Rev. 17:14).
Let me also remind you that there can be no success without God, you must act in dependence on Him alone. You must acknowledge God and take Him along in the pursuit of your destiny.
 Safety and salvation are of the Lord, He can save without armies, but armies cannot save without Him. Therefore  He must be sought and trusted in for success, and when success is obtained He must have all the glory. Halleluyah!

Personal Confession: Father, defeat the good counsel of my enemies against me, and l declare no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel of wicked against me this year shall prosper in Jesus name.

SUCCESSFUL MAN

DAILY GRACE

TEXT: GEN. 39: 2

May the Lord grant you grace to flourish beyond measure as you align within the center of His will for your life in Jesus Christ's name.
             
To be a successful man in life requires unfailing commitment to the ultimate source of success in life.
Joseph was blessed, wonderfully blessed, even in the house of his master.
 God prospered him beyond measure.
 Perhaps the affairs of Potiphar’s family had remarkably gone backward before but, upon Joseph’s coming into it, a discernible turn around was given to them, and the face and posture of them altered on a sudden.
Though, at first, we may suppose that his hand was put to the meanest services, even in those appeared his ingenuity and industry. A particular blessing of Heaven attended him, which as he rose in his employment or duty, became more and more discernible.
Beloved, those that have wisdom and grace have that which cannot be taken away from them, whatever else they are robbed off.
Joseph’s brethren had stripped him of his coat of many colours, but they could not strip him of his grace, virtue and prudence.

Also, those that can separate us from all our friends, yet cannot deprive us of the gracious presence of our God. When Joseph had none of all his relations with him, he had his God with him, even in the house of the Egyptian. Joseph was separated from his brethren, but not from his God, banished from his father’s house, but the Lord was with him and this comforted him, even in the prison. 
If there is anything you must desire to be successful in life and ministry, it is His awesome presence.
 It is God’s presence with us that makes all we do prosperous. Those that would prosper must therefore make God their friend because He rules in the affairs of men. And those that do prosper must therefore give God the praise for His awesome presence.
Desire His awesome presence daily for you to be a successful man indeed. Shalom!!!

NATURE OF A BELIEVER

DAILY GRACE

TOPIC:  NATURE OF A BELIEVER
TEXT:1 JOHN 3:5-7
                            
  God is set to do you good this week. You will obtain favour from God and man in Jesus name.
As a true believer, regenerated and adopted into the fold of Christ Jesus; we are called to take upon us the nature of Christ. This is what makes us to be called new born in Christ Jesus (2 Cor. 5:17).
 A Believer is the person who believes the TRUTH (Jesus Christ). Jesus said, "l am the way, the Truth and the Life, no man goeth to the Father but by me" (John 14:6).
 A Believer is the Person who possesses the true nature and mind of Christ (Phil. 2:5-6).
 He is a Person who now puts on Christ Jesus as His new clothe, then forsaken his old ways (Rom. 6:4-6).
A believer is someone who knows the Lord, walks in His ways and does not make a practice of sin (1 John 3:9).
A believer believes and identifies with Christ's death, burial and resurrection (Rom. 6:4-7).
But, what can we say are the nature of a believer;   
          
1. He now has the nature of commendation. Instead of him to be doomed for eternal destruction and condemnation, he is now commended by Christ as a new creature in Him. No more condemnation (Rom. 8:1).        
  2. He has a revived nature in God. His spirit man is awakened to please God often, he no longer live in the flesh(Rom. 8:5-8).
3. Nature of freedom from Sin (Rom. 6:7). If you are truly a believer, it means you are dead to sin- that's your very nature.
For sin shall no longer have dominion over you (Rom. 6:14).   
 4.Nature of self control/disciplined. You are now a soldier of Christ and you need to be temperate in all things. Learning to abound and abase Just like Apostle Paul. You need to endure hardship and this is where self control/discipline of your flesh/body comes in (1 Cor. 9:24-27, Heb. 11:6-8).
 5. Nature of perfect or total hatred for sins and worldliness (Gal. 5:19-20). You can't continue any longer to sin because the nature of sin has been taken away from you. So also because your new Father (God) hates sin, you can't do what displeases Him. Again, you can't continue to sin because everyone that sins is of the devil, for he is the father of all sinners.
                   
Hence beloved, if truly you are a believer, all these nature (which are the nature of Christ) must be seen in you. Otherwise, you are none of His. May God help and strengthen your heart in Jesus name.

DON'T GIVE UP 2

TEXT: Ruth 4:13-14 

  Happy Sunday to you.
We have seen the result of holding on tenaciously to God, even in the midst of hard situations.
 This is what we were able to see from the life of Naomi and her daughter-in-law. They believed beyond hope, that they will rejoice in their God and that was exactly what happened to them. They became a praise among many people. God caused people to rejoice with them and to praise their God with them. I believe this is what God will do for you.
Friends, are you down casted, hopeless, discouraged, frustrated and depressed? God is causing you to rejoice and smile again. Look at the testimony of Naomi and her daughter-in-law in Ruth 4:13-14; "So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son. And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel". The bible says God enabled Ruth to conceive and bare a son.
This is what the enemy had thought was impossible for her. I decree that all impossibilities in your life, business, family, career and destiny are removed now in Jesus name.
Receive supernatural grace to conceive divine seed, great ideas, business ideas and ministry ideas  that will announce you to your world and cause you to launch out into your destiny fulfillment. Remember, the key to the fulfilment of these God's promises is for you to keep on holding on to God and never give up.
Your exceeding joy comes speedily and the name of the Lord God is exalted over your case. It is well with you. Have a glorious week ahead. God is interested in you.

DON'T GIVE UP

DAILY GRACE

TOPIC: DON'T GIVE UP
TEXT: RUTH 1:20

  Happy fulfilling weekend to you. I believe God that there shall be a performance of all those things spoken by the mouth of the Lord concerning you. You shall rejoice and all men shall praise God with you. People might have written you off and you also might think that no good thing can come out of your Nazareth but as the Lord liveth and His Spirit is alive, you shall sing your song and dance your dance in Jesus name.
Look at the story of Naomi, in Ruth 1:1-22. She went full into the land of Moab with her husband and two sons in pursuit of greener pastures. But, the reverse happened to her. She lost her husband and two sons. She was then left with her two daughters-in-law. Only one of them. (Ruth) could see beyond her physical situation and circumstances. She believed in the God of her mother-in-law. She believed beyond the level of doubt that something good can still happen to both of them. What an unwavering faith!
No wonder God honoured her faith (Ruth 1:16-18).
The Messiah (Jesus Christ) had to come from her lineage. Ruth married Boaz and she conceived and bore a son called Obed. You will also conceive and bear your own children, just like the women of faith did. The yoke of bareness,miscarriage and still birth upon you is broken now in Jesus name. For others conceived and bear, so would you.
 Beloved, God's word to you today is that, "don't give up on your self, for there is hope in your end". Your exceeding  joy comes speedily and people shall rejoice with you. God has not given up on you, so why should you give up on yourself. Remember, that when it seems that God is coming too late; He is surely coming in a BIG way for you. So, relax and keep having faith in God. He has not brought you this far to leave you. It is well with you. Rejoice, again l say, rejoice!

GET WISDOM 3

As you kick off this weekend today, you will not be stranded and fresh wisdom will flow into your life.TGIF
 Wisdom advantage in life can not be over emphasized. If you will be wise and good, you shall enjoy the blessing thereof.
 First, it will be your life, your comfort, your happiness, it is what thou can not live without. Keep my commandments and live, Prov. 4:4.
Christ Jesus agrees with this, If you will enter into abundant life, keep the commandments, Matt. 19:17.
Receive wisdom’s sayings, and the years of your life shall be many and crowned with exceeding joy. As many in this world as Infinite wisdom sees fit, and in the other world you shall live that life the years of which shall never be numbered. Keep her therefore, whatever it costs you, for wisdom is your life, Prov. 4:13. All your satisfaction will be found in this golden truth and a soul without true wisdom and grace is really a dead soul.
 Secondly, It will be your guard and guide, your convoy and conductor, through all the dangers and difficulties of your journey through the wilderness of life.

 Love wisdom, and cleave to wisdom, and wisdom shall preserve you, godly wisdom shall keep you from falling from grace, the worst of evils, the worst of enemies.
 Wisdom shall keep you from hurting hurting yourself, and then none else can hurt you. As we say, “Keep your shop, and your shop will keep thee" so, “Keep your wisdom, and your wisdom will keep you.

GET WISDOM 2

Great morning to you, I pray that things will be easy for you today in Jesus name.
As we press further from where we paused yesterday. An understanding heart will be your portion as you passionately seek wisdom in Jesus name.
What must you do with wisdom after getting it?

Firstly, Forget her not, forsake her not, let her not go, but keep her. Those that have got this true wisdom must take heed of losing it again by returning to folly, it is indeed a good part, that shall not be taken from us, but then we must take heed lest we throw it away, as those do that forget it first, and let it slip out of their minds, and then forsake it and turn out of its good ways. That good thing which is committed to us we must keep, and not let it drop, through carelessness, nor suffer it to be forced from us, nor suffer ourselves to be wheedled out of it, never let go such a jewel.

Secondly, Love her (Prov. 4:6), and embrace her (Prov. 4:8), as worldly men love their wealth and set their hearts upon it, if we cannot reach to be great masters of wisdom, yet let us be true lovers of it and what grace we have let us embrace it with a sincere affection, as those that admire its beauty.
Let's see how you can  develop a passionate search for wisdom;
a) Receive the word of grace
b) Treasure His commands and never turn away from it.
c) Incline your ear to wisdom
d) Be a desperate listener
e) Apply your heart to understanding
f) Cry out for discernment
g) Lift up your voice for understanding
h) Seek wisdom as silver
i) Search for her as for
 hidden treasure.

GET WISDOM

Welcome to the start of a great day. You will receive fresh wisdom for purposeful living from above today in Jesus name.

In whatever you desire to get in life, first get wisdom. Get wisdom! and with all thy getting in life, get understanding, having understand that it is a principal thing to pursue in life. Pray for it (Jas.1: 5), pursue it accordingly, take pains for it, and give diligence in the use of all appointed means to attain it.

When a man wait at wisdom’s gate, (Prov. 8:34). Such a man get dominion over his corruption, which are thy follies, get possession of wise principles and the habits of wisdom. You must get wisdom before you can have some difficult task achieve in life. Get wisdom by experience, get it above all thy getting, be more in care and take more pains to get this than to get the wealth of this world.

True wisdom is God’s gift, and yet we are here commanded to get it, because God gives it to those that labour for it, whatever might and the power of your hand can not achieve, getting wisdom will draw them closer to you. King Solomon labour for it, he got it and it established his reign (1Kgs.3). Ability to discern between good and evil and make wise judgement are the blessings of getting wisdom that every believers must possess in life. An understanding heart will be your portion as you seek wisdom this year.
What must you do with wisdom after getting it?

THE SILVER IS MINE

DAILY GRACE

TOPIC: THE SILVER IS MINE
TEXT: HAGAI 2: 8

Top of the day to you. I believe today will be a favourable one for you, and you will not lack good things of life in Jesus name.
Lets look at the declaration from the Almighty God as established in the text above. I want you to know that God needs not the silver and gold to adorn His temple, for He says, the silver is mine, and the gold is mine. All the silver and gold in the world are His, it all belongs to God of all grace i.e. all that is hidden in the bowels of the earth (for the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof). All that is laid up in the exchequers, banks, and treasuries of the children of men, and all that circulates for the maintenance of trade, commerce and industries; it is all the Lord’s.

Every penny bears His image as well as Caesar’s and therefore when gold and silver are dedicated to His honour, and employ in His service, no addition is made to Him, for it was His before and it will always be His. When David and his princes offered vast sums for the service of the house of God, they acknowledged; It is all thy own, and of thy own, Lord, have we given you (1 Chron. 29:14, 16). Therefore, God needs not sacrifice, for every creature of the forest is His (Ps. 50:10).

Beloved, if we have silver and gold, we must serve and honour God with them. For they are all His own, we must  use of them all to the glory of His name. If we have not silver and gold to honour Him with, we must honour Him with such as we have, and He will accept us. All the silver and gold in the world are His already. The earth is full of the riches of His grace, so is the great and wide sea also. Recognize divine ownership (God) today and honour Him and He will bless you more with both what money can buy and what money cannot buy. You are blessed!

WALKING WITH GOD

DAILY GRACE

TOPIC: WALKING WITH GOD
TEXT: Micah 6:8
                    
   Happy new week to you. It is my prayer that the hands of the Lord will rise for your help this week in Jesus name.
From our text today, "Micah 6:8- He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?".
 God has showed to you what is good- that you walk humbly with Him. It is in walking humbly with Him that He teaches you how to do justly, and to love mercy. But how can we walk humbly with God and please Him Just like the heroes of faith did (Enoch, Noah, Abraham, and even Jesus walked with His Father). They walked with God and pleased Him. Hence, the following are ways to walk humbly with God;                      
  1. Surrender all to Him (Rom. 12:1-2).
 2.Communicate daily with Jesus (Phil 4:6, Matt. 18:19).       
3. Obey the Holy Spirit (Phil. 4:8).      
4. Read and meditate on the Word of God daily (Josh. 1:8, Eph. 6:7)   
5. Find a spiritual home (Psalms 68:6).
6. Support God's work  (Prov. 3:9).    
 7. Find/discover your ministry (Eph 4:11-13).                 
  8. Resist the devil/temptation (James. 1:12-16).                   
9. Tell others about Jesus Christ (Mark 16:15).                     
 All these and many more are ways to walk humbly God. In walking humbly with God, you need the Holy Spirit as your senior partner. He is the one that will teach you the will of the Father and when you are obedient to Him, you are also pleasing God (Psalms 32:8, John 14:26).

PEACE BE UNTO YOU

   Happy Super Sunday. I trust the Lord to do you good today and cause His face to shine on you in this new week in Jesus name.
 The Lord has a prophetic word for you today. This is the same word He said to Gideon when he was to go and fight against the Midianites. Here it is, "And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die". This is a simple  but powerful word spoken to Gideon, when he was to rise up for the defense of Israel, his people.
 Beloved, I don't know what situation, condition, circumstance or issue that is standing like a Midianite to you; to the extent that it looks so insurmountable. Hear the word of the Lord to you: "fear not". Fear will only incapacitate you and make you believe in the work of the devil than in what God can do for you.
 In fact, when God was ready to make war with the Midianites, He told Gideon to reduce the number of the warriors. The first set of people God removed were those who were afraid and fearful and they were 32,000 (the largest of the whole 42,000 people) in number (Judg. 7:3-5). Imagine, if these 32,000 fearful people had gone to the war front with the remaining people. Their hearts may fail them, thereby causing lsrael to loose out of the battle; which would have been contrary to God's promise to Gideon. The lesson here is this, God has promised to give you maximum victory over those issues or circumstances of yours.
However, you have to be strong at heart, so as not to allow the devil rob you of your victory. Instead of fear, doubt, panic and defeat, the Lord is given you His peace (unlimited and everlasting) John 14:1.
               
Friends, its time for you to soar in the peace of God for you and tell the devil you aren't going to die, fail or falter. Why? Because God is for you and He is your peace. Shalom!

Happy glorious weekend to you. The hands of the Lord Almighty will rest heavily upon you in Jesus name. I see God doing great exploits in your life in ways beyond your imaginations. He is set to make you victorious and prosperous beyond measure. This He will do for you as you put your trust in Him and make Him your backbone(Psalms 20:5).
"And the hand of the children of Israel prospered, and prevailed against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan."
 Just like God made the hands of the Israelites prospered and victorious over their enemy (King Jabin), so shall the Lord make your hands prosper and fight for you and make you a praise among many people in Jesus name. When God fights for a man, He makes the man is fighting for  dumbfounded because of how victoriously He will do the fighting. No Wonder, His Word says that, the Lord is a man of war, the Lord is His name. You can as well call Him  a fighter.
The God that owns the interest of His children at heart and thus fight for them. It is my prayer that God will fight for you and grant you peace all around henceforth, in every area and aspects of your life (Exo. 14:14).
Beloved, as you agree with the verdict of God of all grace this day, He will fight your battle for you and you will hold your peace.

Great Morning to you.
I belief God that you have started applying your faith. Today, we want to look at the importance of faith and how to grow your faith. Faith has lots of benefits or importances. Obedient faith is necessary to follow and serve God acceptably (Heb. 11:6). Hence, faith is necessary for an effective grace walk with God. They are briefly listed below;          
 1. Faith is necessary to believe God (John 8:24)                 
 2. Faith is necessary for salvation (Mark 16:16)                     
 3. Faith is a tool needed to kick out doubt or unbelief (James 1:6-8).     
  4. It Is necessary for the remission of sins (Acts 10:43).        
 5. It is a major key to please God (Heb. 11:6). Beloved, the only Object of faith is Jesus Christ. He Is our mediator (Heb.12:2, John 3:16).    
The desire of God for us , his children is to move from  one level of faith to another because the just shall live by his faith (Hab.2: 4). But, how then do we grow in faith;          
 1. Desire the sincère Milk of the Word of God (1 Pet. 2:2).    
 2. Fellowship with God's people (Heb. 10:25)               
 3. Witness Christ to others.                  
 4. Work out your faith by acting on your for every personal issues (James 2:20). Without faith it is impossible to please God our Father. So, in order to please God, you must exercise your faith in Him and keep growing.

FAITH

  Your faith will not fail you today in the name of Jesus Christ.

The subject of faith is such that every believer can not overlook. It is a major ingredient to please God, the Father (Heb. 11:6). The currency to withdraw from heavenly treasure.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Heb. 11:1).
 The Greek Word for faith is 'Pistis', which means a conscious belief in that which is beyond the ordinary or one's empirical world. But how does faith come? Faith comes by exposing your spirit man to the living Word of grace. This could be in the form of;  reading the bible, hearing anointed messages or reading anointed Christian literatures. (Rom. 10:17, Mark 2:1-5).  When you have taken all these into your heart/spirit man, you will Begin to grow in faith. As you grow in faith, there are some evidences that will emanate from your life, which will be visible to people. These are:         
1. You will have peace with God (Rom. 5:1)                 2. Sanctification (Act 15:9).                       
3. Justification  (Rom 3:27-28).                 
4. Commendation by God (Rom 8:1-2). You are no longer  condemned nor Under the Law.           
5. Living a life of grâce, no longer Under the Law (Rom 6:14).
6. You will be a true Child of God that live in obedient walk with God, your Creator (Rom. 10:16, Heb. 11:4-31).          
7. You are sure of eternal life with your Saviour (John 3:16; 20:31).

Once you are saved with grâce through faith in Christ, then you must realise that you have faith. You only need to apply your faith, set it to action. By doing this, you will Begin to grow in your faith. God bless you.

TEXT: LUKE 11:1-4
                        
Welcome to a new day,your expectations shall not be cut short today in Jesus name. Today by the grace of God, we will continue from where we stopped yesterday. What are the keys and steps to answered prayers? The keys to answered prayers include the following;
                
1. Obedience: Your obedience must be total to God. You can't be living in disobedience to God and His will and still expects God to answer your prayers.
 2. Faith: You need to remember that anything you do without applying faith is a sin. You need to pray with faith in your heart to receive anything from God.                   
 3. Holiness: This is a must for you to see God in your situation. Be holy because you're praying to holy God.         
4. Humility: Humble your self under His mighty hands of revival prayer.           
5. Correct/right living: Accurate living keep you in the will of God to secure answers to your prayers (1 John 3:22).    
6. Word confession: you need to keep saying your heart desires to God and also let the devil hear you.Your confession determines your possessions.            
  7. Persistence: Be resolute in your heart desires to God.
                           
 Let's look at the steps to an answered prayer which include the following;                                  1. Be specific and stand on God's word. When You do this you need to learn to
pray according to the Word. Find the Word of God that relates to your heart desires.
 Also, learn to use the sword of the spirit against the devil. This is the weapon you have.
You also need to fight the good fight of faith on all of God's promises to you. Since, God has promises you, it is yours already but you need to claim it by fighting for it through God's Word.
2. You must ask God for what You want. You need a desire before you even decide to go to God to pray ( Mark 11:23-24).
3. Be positive in your thinking. The devil will bring doubt, fear and unbelief in your heart. But, you must  counter all these through the Word of God.
This you should also do: resist doubt,
reject anything that contradicts the Word of God.
4. Guard your mind, with the Word of God (Rom. 12:1-2).
5. Meditate on God's promises to you until it is birthed forth (Josh. 1:8). And you must learn to see yourself with your answer.
6. Continually thank God for the answers.
7. Make every prayer a statement of faith.
Don't undo your prayers by exercising fear or doubt.
 Every believer has faith, so apply the faith you have.  God bless you.

 Top of the day to you.This day shall be a favourable and rewarding day for you. Prayer is of paramount importance in the life of every Child of God. It is through the act of prayer that we gain victory over the schemes of the devil (Luke 10:19, Eph. 6:10-18).                           
What is Prayer? 
Prayer is a fellowship or communion  between God and man. It is a dialogue and not a monologue as many people practice. You need to take time out to get feedback from God after speaking to Him. It is what the devil cannot do at all.
 Every Child of God must take prayer very seriously. You must be determined, resolute, and definite in your heart to fellowship with God when you pray (Mark 11:23-24, Heb. 12:22-24). 

  How do we pray effectively?
 As a new creature in Christ Jesus, be willing to continue your prayer with fasting because prayer and fasting will increase your faith in God (Mark 9:29).
 To pray effectively, the following are what you should consider;                
 1. Set a personal time to pray, Just like Jesus did (Mark 1:35, Acts 3:1).        
2. Come boldly to God when you pray (Heb. 4:16)      
 3. Pray to God, the Father (Luke 16:27, 2 Cor. 13:7).           
 4. Pray in the name of Jesus (John. 16:23; 14:13, Rom. 1:8).      
 5. Pray in faith (Mark 11:23,Matt. 21:22).   
 6. Pray believing in your heart (Mark 11:23).                          
  7. Pray in secret/public (Matt. 6:5-6, Acts 4:23-31).       
   8. Pray passionately or earnestly (James 5:16-17, Col. 4:12)  
  9. Live a holy life (1 John 3:22).          
  10. Pray in the Holy Ghost (Jude 1:20, Eph. 6:20).     
  
Beloved, in order to be a victorious Christian, you need to pray without ceasing Just like Jesus did. He prayed all the time in His lifetime.
 Note: To do without praying is to be a prey to the devil. Make prayer your habit!!!

TRUE WORSHIPPER

TOPIC: TRUE WORSHIPPER
TEXT: JOHN 12:2-4

Happy Sunday! Contrary to the belief that worship is a slow type of song, usually sung while eyes are closed and hands raised. The text of today's devotion gives us an insight to who a true worshipper is. So, worship is a way of life or rather say, it is a lifestyle. A lifestyle that people see that makes them have an idea of whom you worship. Worship is in your words (what you say), what you cherish the most, what you are dedicated to separated from, it is what your entire life depends on. It is also seen in your actions and inactions.                   For Mary, the woman who anointed Jesus' feet in preparation for His burial; she gave a perfume measure equal to a whole year salary. She did that act of worship in an open environment (a dinner setting). She was not ashamed of multitudes of people watching her, nor ashamed of the Lord Jesus  Christ. She only was ready to poured her heart to Jesus in worship as she cleaned the perfume with her hair (can you imagine that?). Remember, that her hair is her glory and a pride to her (1 Cor. 11:15a), but she submitted her glory to Christ the Lord. She lavished all she has got for a whole year savings on the Lord Jesus (John 12:5). She ceased the crucial opportunity to do the needful and was sensitive to the need of the moment. This has been her usual practice (Luke 10:42, John 12:3).         Contrary to what Judas Iscariot and others have thought- like giving the money of the perfume sold to the poor (John 12:4). As much as that is also good but not needed at the moment.              
   A true worshipper gives her time to the Lord. This same woman, Mary has being giving her time to Jesus even before now, look at what she did in Luke 10:39, she sat at the feet of Jesus, listening to His teachings. That is worship! This is seen in her devotion to the Lord. It was also eminent in her words and confidence in the Lord (John 11:32)- she fell at His feet and said, "Lord if you had been here, my brother would not have died."         A true worshipper separates himself or herself to the one he or she worships and loves (John 11:29; 12:3). Beloved, are you a true worshipper of God, the same God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? The God that appeared to these patriarch of old and showed himself mightily to them. Is he the One you truly claim to serve or another? Don't forget that even though these heroes of faith are of different generation from ours, but He is still the same God. A true worshipper obeys whom claims to serve. He is not fond of complaining, grumbling or asking questions before he yields. His response is always, "yes, Lord" and not "why Lord". Examine yourself if you are truly a worshipper in your conduct, words, mannerism, obedience, way of life, dedication and in your giving rp the Lord. It is when you have done these that you can then express your worship to God through songs if you wish and then God can now accept your worship, otherwise you are fooling yourself. Make up your mind to be a true worshipper from henceforth. God bless you as you start to worship God,  the right way from now.

GIVE ME TO DRINK

TOPIC: GIVE ME TO DRINK
TEXT: John 4:7-15
                           
Jesus is saying to you today, "give me to drink", just like He told that Samaritan woman. You have thought within yourself that you have the best of valuables, treasures and all that your soul desire. Hence, you do not suffer any need nor want anything. You think within yourself that you are self sufficient. So out of your "sufficiency", Christ is saying to you, "give me to drink". But, it is surprising that what you have cannot even take you any further than you have thought, talk more of you having excess or left over to give to someone else. It is wisdom to drop what you have and what you are in order for you to be made what God intended from beginning. This woman had kept to herself for years, living a life below her pre-ordained destiny. Unknown to her that she is an evangelist and that Christ can make meaning out of her mess (John 4:28).                Beloved, no matter your past life or status, Jesus is still interested in you. He is ready to replace the little  you have with His never drying water of life. Just take a look at the response of Jesus to the Samaritan woman in verse 10 of the text - Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water". Your curiousity or too many concerns and questions will not make the little you have at hand not to waste or be sufficient for you. Rather, Jesus needs your faith in total submission to His directives for you to have your eternal results (John 4:15). "Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:  But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life". Would you rather submit to the authority of Christ today for you to have a smooth and sweet ending like this woman- she swiftly entered into her destiny (John 4:28-40).          
Friend, do not tarry any longer. Christ is waiting for you at the well for divine exchange to take place. He wants to replace his strength for your weakness, his life for your death and His eternal life for your short lifespan. "Just give Him to drink"!!!

GOD'S GIFT

 Top of the day to you,as you kick off this weekend, you will not be stranded in the name of the Lord.
The great hindrance of usefulness in the increase of our gifts is slavish fear. Apostle Paul therefore warned Timothy against this false evidence appearing real.
 God hath not given us the Spirit of fear.
It was through this spirit of fear that the wicked servant buried his talent, and did not trade with it (Matt. 25:25).

Now God has therefore armed us against the spirit of fear, by often bidding us not to fear. Fear not the face of man, fear not the dangers you may meet with in the way of your duty. God has delivered us from the spirit of fear, and has given us the spirit of power, and spirit of love, and spirit of a sound mind as lifetime gifts. These three major spirits must be at work in your life if you will make notable progress in grace life.
The spirit of power, or of courage and resolution to encounter difficulties and dangers. Power to tread upon the lion(Ps. 91:13), a defensive power (Mark 16:18) and power to speak the word of grace (Act 1:8).
The spirit of love towards God, which will carry us through the opposition we may meet with. As Jacob made nothing of the hard service he was to endure for Rachel, the spirit of love to God will set us above the fear of man, and all the hurts that a man can do to us. It is only via the spirit of love that we can be recognized as His disciples (John 13:35). Love to God and the lost souls of men must inflame every son of God in all their day to day worship service (Rm.5:5)
 The spirit of a sound mind, or quietness of mind, a peaceable mind. This spirit of sound mind help those who have expressed their faith in Christ to demonstrate self control, and confidently proclaim the word of truth that set the captive free.
Beloved, you can not be effective in your ministry or daily Christian living without the operation of the Spirit of power, of love, and of a sound mind.

SONS OF GOD

Welcome to the start of a great day beloved. You shall receive help from where you least expected today in Jesus name.
We are acquainted with the wonderful privilege by our faith in Christ that we are the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
This is the great and excellent privilege which real Christians enjoy under the gospel. We are the children of God, we are no longer called slaves, servants, but sons. We are not now kept at such a distance and under such restraints, as the Jews were. But, we are now allowed, a nearer and freer access to God's habitation (Heb. 4:16). We are admitted into His kingdom and have a right to all the privileges as His children.

We have come to obtain this privilege, which is by faith in Christ Jesus alone. Having accepted him as our Lord and Saviour, and relying on Him alone for justification and salvation, we are here upon admitted into this happy relationship with God, and are entitled to the privileges of it. For  as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to those that believe on his name. And this faith in Christ, whereby they become the children of God (John 1:12).

Friend, you cannot claim to be a son of God of all grace without the expression of your faith in Christ Jesus. His birth, His death, and resurrection. For by him all things were made and nothing existed without him.

He Escaped

DAILY GRACE

TEXT: John 10:39

Top of the day to you. God will cause you to escape the traps of the wicked today in Jesus name.
We have here the issue of the conference with the religious leaders. One would have thought it would have convinced and melted them, but their hearts were hardened to the point that they wanted to removed His influence from the multitudes.
 How they attacked him by force and sought again to take him because He had fully answered their charge of blasphemy, and wiped off that imputation, so that they could not for shame go on with their attempts to stone him, therefore they contrived to seize him.

Because He persevered in the same testimony concerning Himself, they persisted in their malice against Him. What he had said before he did in effect say again, for the faithful witness never departed from what he has once said. Thus, having the same provocation, they expressed the same resentment, and justified their attempt to stone him by another attempt to take him. Such is the temper of a persecuting spirit—to cover one set of bad deed with another, lest the former should fall through.
Let's look into how He avoided them.
 He escaped out of their hands, not by the interposal of any friend that helped Him, but by His own wisdom He got clear of them, He drew a veil over Himself, or cast a mist before their eyes, or tied the hands of those whose hearts He did not turn.
Since, as no weapon formed against our Lord Jesus prospered, therefore  no weapon fashion against you this year shall prosper in Jesus name.
He escaped out, not because He was afraid to suffer, but because His hour was not come. And He who knew how to deliver himself no doubt knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to make a way for them to escape.
He escaped out of their hands because He had all things under His Control. As He escaped, l declare by His grace that you shall escape the trap of the wicked one in Jesus name.

GREAT FAITH 2

Top of the day to you. This day shall be profitable, and favorable for you and God will smile on you in Jesus name.
Let’s continue from where we paused yesterday and you will be amazed at a great discovery of what Christ Jesus did about the faith of the centurion.

He turned about and applauded him in what he said to them that followed him.  Likewise in this world, some Christians are acknowledged and commended by Christ before men, in his eminent appearance with them. “Verily, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel!"

Firstly, it was an honour to the centurion, who, though not a son of Abraham’s loins, was an heir of Abraham’s faith, and Christ found it so. The thing that Christ seeks is faith not fear, and wherever it is, he finds it, though but as a grain of mustard-seed. He had not found so great faith, all things considered, and in proportion to the means, as the poor widow is said to cast in more than they all in Luke 21:3.

Secondly, though the centurion was a Gentile, yet he was thus commended. It speaks shame to Israel, to whom pertained the adoption, the glory, the covenants, and all the assistances and encouragements of faith. When the Son of man comes, he finds little faith, and, therefore, he finds so little fruit.
The attainment of some, who have had but little help for their souls, will aggravate the sin and ruin of many, that have had great plenty of the means of grace, and have not made a good improvement and increment of them. Christ said this to those that followed him, if by any means he might provoke them to a holy emulation, as Paul speaks, (Rom. 11:14). They were Abraham’s seed, in jealousy for that honour, let them not suffer themselves to be outstripped by a Gentile, especially in that grace for which Abraham was eminent.
  Friends, it won’t speak well if you are still living in doubt of the word of grace. Let Jesus Christ see great faith in you today and turnabout to express the same commendation on your behalf.

TOPIC: GREAT FAITH
TEXT: LUKE 7: 9

Welcome to a new week. I see the appearances of the fourth Man in that situation, challenges you are passing through and you will not miss the wonders of grace this week in Jesus.

Let"s have some expository insight from the text above.
 Christ Jesus admired the centurion, not for his greatness, but for his graces. When Jesus heard about his great faith, He marveled, not as if it were to Him new and surprising, he knew the centurion’s faith, for he wrought it, but it was great and excellent, rare and uncommon in Israel, and Christ spoke of it as wonderful, to teach us what to admire and emulate in people, not worldly pomp and decorations, but the beauty of His holiness, and great faith which are in the sight of God of great price.
The wonders of grace should affect us more than the wonders of nature or providence, and spiritual attainments more than any achievements in this world.
We should embraced those that are rich in faith, not of those that are rich in gold and silver, we should say that they have gotten all this glory.
Wonders of great faith can happen in your life if you can demonstrate same faith in Christ Word.

GOD'S PERSPECTIVE OF KINGSHIP

TOPIC: GOD'S  PERSPECTIVE OF KINGSHIP
TEXT: DEUT. 17:14_20

       It was not in God's original plan to give the Israelites a King from onset. They usually have a ruler or leader and a priest, who enquires of the Lord and tells the people the mind of God.
But God, being an Omnipotent God, had already seen by he future and knows that by the time He takes the Israelites to their promised land they might also want to have kings like other nations do (Deut. 17:14). So, He gave them His design for select a king among themselves. He gave them his design to be that;
1. "you shall surely set a king over you whom the LORD your God chooses"; this is to say that it is only whom the Lord pleases to make a King that they must choose.
2. "one from among your brethren you shall set as king over you";  the King must be part of the covenant people of God, not an infidel or an unbeliever. 1 Pet. 2:9.
3. "you may not set a foreigner over you, who is not your brother". Vs. 15. The King must be someone who knows the Lord of the Israelite, the one who brought them out of the land of Egypt. The who who showed Himself to them as a covenant keeping God.
4. "But he shall not multiply horses for himself". The Egyptian trusts in their houses to fight battles, but the children of God has been given the name of the Lord for victory. Ps. 20:5. His trust must not be on physical things . That he possesses bit on
 the Almighty God.
5. He must not cause the people to return to Egypt (their former way of life that irritates God).
6. "Neither shall he multiply wives for himself, lest his heart turn away"; this is to say that he must be a husband of one wife the reason is well stated by God. So that his many wives do not turn his heart against the living God, for our God is a jealous God (Exo. 20).
7. Nor shall he greatly multiply silver and gold for himself.
He must not set his heart to amassing wealth, thinking and pursuing how to be wealthy while in the kingship role. This is to say that he must set his heart on the assignment of being a King.
8. "And he shall have a copy of the law taken from the Levites and it must be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the LORD his God and be careful to observe all the words of this law and these statutes". This
 is to say that he must be a Word addict. 
9. "that his heart may not be lifted above his brethren", he must not be high minded or proud. And must not lord it over his fellow people.
10. "that he may not turn aside from the commandment to the right hand or to the left, and that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children in the midst of Israel". He is to stay glued to the word of God. Must be a doer of the word, but both he and his household. This is what guarantees his long stay on the throne.
All by the aforelisted designs of God for kingship is applicable to all of us who are God's children occupying a major role or the other. You must endeavor  to  do it the way of the Lord. God is counting on you. 1 Peter 2:9.

KEEP GOD'S INSTRUCTION

DAILY GRACE

TOPIC: KEEP GOD'S INSTRUCTION
TEXT:  Deut. 12:32
                                       
  Beloved, He that has started a good work in you will finish it. We have started another new quarter in this year and God has specific plans and purposes for you this season. Your own part is to know His plan, will and specific purposes for you in this new quarter. You also need to know the instructions He needs you to keep in order for all His will and purposes to be established in your life and destiny. In order for anything to happen on the earth, God needs a man who has a part to play in His agenda in order to establish His purpose on the earth.  
Friends, Look at what God said in Ezekiel 22:30, "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it but I found none". 
When God intends to do anything on the earth, He needs a man to stand in the gap. To do what? you may want to ask.
To take responsibility, (pray and interceed) in order to birth forth what He intends to do. From the above text, to interceed is the specific instruction given to man on the earth so as to birth forth His  purpose on the earth.   You need to know the personal and specific instructions you need to keep in order for your prophecy to come to pass in this new quarter. 
               
God said you must keep His instructions, do not add to it or remove from it. This is what will birth forth your prophecies; and this is your own responsibility.
                             
Personal Confession: Lord God my Father, help me to keep my personal and specific instructions for my testimonies to manifest in Jesus name.
